Day 9

We got up today and ordered room service for breakfast. I had an omelet with bacon and cheese and Dee got one with asparagus, peppers and cheese. The food took a little long to get here but that was ok since it gave me time to write this report.

When we were done eating we went to the pool area to meet up with Rick and Wendy. While we were down there they all decided to go to see a movie today. I declined as I wanted to play.

We got cleaned up after pool time and hit the casino. I stopped off at the slot club and was able to score 3 movie passes for the gang. They went to see Bridesmaids.

Today we played some single line VP to start off. Dee was getting killed and other than a dealt straight flush that I got we didn't hit much. Between us we were down $100 when everyone met up to head to the movies.

I found some Spin Poker machines with decent pay tables and started playing just 3 lines so it was similar to triple play. I wasn't doing very well and decided to play max coins on the last few dollars I had. I scored a bunch of quads on dealt trips and got back into the game. A few dealt straights and flushes continued the run for a while. I had a key hand where I was dealt 3 to a royal and did land all of the other cards but they weren't in sequence. That kind of sucked since we still hadn't hit a royal yet this trip. A few minutes later the same thing happened but I scored a royal on one of the lines and cashed out with a nice profit! Not only was it a nice profit, it brought us ahead for the trip.

We all met up after the movie. Wendy had gotten a card and was playing off her free play and then we went to Cafe Siena to get something to eat. I had a $10 voucher that I got for playing 900 points today and charged the balance to the room. We all had Chinese dishes and everyone thought the food was good.

We got ready to leave the Suncoast around 5 to go back to the Strip to catch the show at Imperial Palace but before we left we put a little play on Wendy's card so she could do today's promo. I had Dee run the action on a dollar machine and she scored a set of treys and then a set of eights. She got enough points for Wendy and a $240 profit.

We got to the Strip in record time as there were no traffic jams or accidents. We had plenty of time before the show so went over to Harrah's to the diamond lounge for drinks and a snack before going back over to the Imperial Palace. Tonight we were seeing Human Nature. We both saw the show in the past and enjoyed it but Rick and Wendy haven't. They both enjoyed the show as did we. These guys do a great job and it's a great show if you like Motown.

After the show we came back up here to the Suncoast and played some more video poker. We took a shot at some dollar action while Rick put some play on his card and played off his free play. Dee caught a few quads again but I got whacked. I dropped $200 in record time and if I got $400 in action out of it I was lucky. Dee continued to hit bigger hands. Rick and Wendy came over and I finished racking up some points for him so he could do the current promotion. This worked out well for me because I hit quad deuces for $200 and gained back $150 of the $200 I lost earlier. Dee finally cashed out and between her win and my loss we cleared another $50 profit.

This was a good time to pack it in for the day and protect some of the wins. We planned on meeting tomorrow morning at 8:30 for the breakfast buffet we all earned buy doing 300 points in action today.
