We got up today and checked out of the hotel and loaded up the car one last time for the 2 hour drive back to our area. We stopped off for a few errands and then pulled into the driveway around 5pm. It’s amazing but this mega trip is finally over and I felt like we had never left when I walked into the house!

Final Thoughts

• Southwest and all of the airport staff were really great with helping Dee
• I can't believe I got a rental car in Phoenix for less than $8 per day
• It was nice having brand new cars everywhere we rented
• It was neat eating in places featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives
• It was cool being in a haboob in Phoenix
• We both really liked Aliante Station but it's in the middle no where
• The Virgin River Gorge was really fun to drive through
• We enjoyed Reno and Tahoe as a change of scenery
• Quads with kickers on double-double bonus are fun to hit
• I thought it was neat to see the Obama deplane and to see Air Force One up close
• It was convenient to have the rental cars in Reno right in the terminal
• Dee's hover power at video poker amazes me
• It was fun to see Dee's excitement when she hit the 50˘ royal
• Penn & Teller is a decent show but don’t pay full price
• Eating restaurant food for over a month gets old and isn’t healthy
• We didn’t hit that many promos this trip because it was tougher to get around than normal
• Scratch Cards At Main Street Station continue to be worth only $2 the majority of the time
• We got 47 scratch cards at Main Street Station (46 @ $2 and 1 @ $3)
• The offers and promos aren’t what the used to in Las Vegas
• With exception of staying at the Riviera, we were never on the Strip
• We played about 340,000 hands of video poker
• We hit 8 royals this trip (2 @ 1˘, 1 @ 5˘, 4 @ 25˘ and 1 @ 50˘)
• The weather was great but not as hot as usual with some days not hitting 100 degrees
• This win brings my Las Vegas record to 26 – 18 – 1
• The next trip is scheduled for June 22 – July 16 of 2013

• Eff you to Palace Station for closing the Grand Cafe so early for cleaning
