Day 10
Monday September 30, 2013
Today we got up and started off with a quick bite to eat in the room using up some of the foods we got the other day. Today was moving also moving day so we finished packing up our things and got ready for the drive back to Las Vegas.

We played a short session on some single line machines near the hotel elevators. For me much of the session was similar to what's been happening, losing 8-10 hands and then a few small hits. Dee hit a set of aces but then the drain opened up and she ended up cashing out even. I took a shot at my hail Mary and scored quad kings on DDB. I got back in it for a while but finished the session down $50.

We left the Aquarius and stopped for a quick lunch at the In and Out burger on Casino Drive. Dee had never had one of these before so she was excited to try one. She liked it and thought it was good. While we ate I fed birds in the parking lot some fries. They really like them!

On the drive back we stopped at the laundromat in Henderson to drop off our dirty clothes. We headed back to Las Vegas making our way to the Gold Coast. We'll be staying here for the next 4 nights. I booked this with a mail offer that was good for 2 nights, $100 in free play and $50 per day in food. I also booked 2 additional nights through a host. He also offered up dinner for two at the Cortez room, the steakhouse here at the Gold Coast.

Checking in didn't take long and everything was in order. We were assigned room 431. This is a deluxe handicap room with a king bed, night stands, work desk, dresser, flat screen TV and closet. There is a view of a wall. The bathroom has a roll in shower and sink with no vanity. I was a bit aggravated that I ended up in this room type as I booked the higher quality room that has better bathroom amenities.

Once we got everything set up in the room it was time for some video poker action. Dee played triple play and I played 5 play. Dee hovered for the first part of the session and I died again. On my second bill I scored aces and a bunch of other quads. On my hail Mary attempt I hit quad 8's and switched back to bonus. I was up and down for a while hitting enough quads to keep alive. Dee was still hovering and slowly growing her meter when she got the first dealt multi line quad of the trip, a bonus quad. Between us we cashed out with a $200 win.

For dinner we went to Noodle Exchange. We both got the Sai-men noodle soup. It's different than what we get at the California with chicken, shrimp, bokchoy, those pink and white fishy things, and a tempura battered sweet potato. We finished off by getting a couple of Mango-Strawberry smoothies to go.

Next up we hit the video poker machines again. As always I blew through a bill in no time. Dee hovered for a while but needed to reload too. On my second bill I switched to deuces like I did yesterday. This was good for a while and I got a good amount of play and scored 6 wild royals, 3 that came on one hand. I was back to hovering again and then the deuces took some time off. I put in another bill and started off with double-double and hit a quad right away, followed by quad fours. I switched back to bonus to get some more play time. I hovered for while and Dee was hovering on her second bill. I started getting beat up so switched to DDB for the hail Mary, planning on cashing out that last bill when I held 2 aces and scored the other 2 with a kicker for a 2000 coin, $500 hit. We both cashed out after this happy we didn’t get killed again.

I activated my free play for the day after this and then we went back to the video poker machines and then played a variety of penny slots. We did well for a while but then lost. It wasn't the best way to end the night but we had fun and got quite a bit of play out of it.

Total win/loss for the day$200 <---- We won, whoo hoo, we effing won!!
Total Comps for the day $142
Total number of eff bombs for the day = 6 <---- That's all???
