Day 9
Thursday June 19, 2014
We started off today with ride over to Arizona Charlie's Decatur. We went to the Sourdough Cafe for a late breakfast/early lunch. Dee had the pancake breakfast with blueberry pancakes, 2 eggs over easy, sausage and hash browns. I opted for the special steak and eggs for only $4.49 (with players card). Dee also had a coffee and orange juice that combined cost more than my whole meal.

After eating we hit the video poker machines. Today the game was 8/5 bonus triple/five play. I caught aces right away and various other quads and dealt winners. Dee hit a bonus quad right away and hovered for about an hour before busting out. I was up almost 3 bills before the machine took charge and I finished up exactly $100 to make it a breakeven session.

We left the casino and made a quick stop at 99¢ Only to pick up a few items before heading back here to the Rio.

We took a short break and then went down to the Crown theater to line up to see the MJ Live show. I though the show was pretty good and the guy that plays Michael Jackson sure can move. His singing is good but a bit high pitched even for Michael Jackson. I also wouldn't be happy had I paid $63.55 per person to see this 60 minute show.

For dinner we decided to try out the diamond lounge again. Today's offerings included pot stickers, chicken wings, chips, dips and roasted vegetables. The desserts were weak compared to yesterday's selections but they were tasty.

We decided not to gamble tonight and we came to the room around 7pm to do Dee's therapy, watch TV and pack up some of our stuff. We will be moving tomorrow and this will give us a head start.

Total win/loss for the day $0
Total Comps for the day $480
