Day 11

We were up early today and started off with in room breakfast. In room breakfast consists of me going down to Java Vegas and getting Dee coffee, myself iced tea, fruit and a pastry.

After breakfast I ran out to get the laundry I dropped off yesterday. The place is just around the corner on Arville across from the Palms so it didn't take long.

We hit the casino when I got back and met up with Yahtzee Mike who came to town yesterday. We hit the video poker machines again. This time we chose quarter single line 9/6 jacks. I was getting pounded and after dropping $200 with no quads switched to double-double bonus. I hit a straight flush and eventually hit quad fours and switched back to jacks.

Things didn't get much better for me but I was able to start hitting a few more quads and during the session nabbed 2 more straight flushes and of course aces. It wasn't enough though as I dropped $100. Dee did much better hitting lots of quads and hovering for most of her session. The true pain happened when she hit aces and a kicker not once but twice. She ended her session down about $75. In all it wasn't a terrible session considering we played for over 4 hours.

We took a break and made plans with Mike to have dinner at the Rio buffet later on. On the way to the room I stopped by the slot club to activate today's free play.

At 7pm we were all off to the Rio buffet. Dee treated everyone with her points and a $5 off coupon from the American casino Guide. The buffet was pretty identical the the other night when we were here. The exception was the desserts which were more plentiful tonight.

We came back to the Gold Coast where more casino action found us at the video poker machines again. Again we played 9/6 jacks. Nothing really major happened this session. I hit just one quad but had lots of flushes and full houses to keep alive. I cashed out even and Dee cashed out up a few bucks.

To wrap up the night we ran my $50 in free play through x and turned it into $49 on the same penny machine from the night before.

We were both tired so it was time to pack it in for the night and we had to get up early tomorrow.
