Day 13

Today we started off with another one of those in room breakfasts that we always have here at the Gold Coast.

The first thing we did today was hit the video poker machines. Great session for me this morning, more quads than I can shake a stick at, nothing great as far as dealt hands but won $300 with no dealt quads or bonus quads.

Dee was a different story, dropped $100 in no time. Popped in a second bill, hovered for a bit then got dealt a flush with 4 to a royal. Dropped the odd card and scored on line 5! Two minutes later hit her only quad which was aces. Next was lunch at Noodle Exchange with our long time friend Gary. I got the lemon chicken lunch special with soup, fried rice and egg roll. Dee got the same. This is one o our favorite meals here.

After some good conversation and stories with Gary he headed out and we hit the video poker machines. This session sucked with few dealt winners, just one quad for Dee with me dropping $300 and her dropping $100 in only about an hour.

We took a break in the room for a while and then for dinner we went to the buffet. I stopped by the player's club to get a buffet voucher by using the LVA coupon earn 200 points get a free buffet. I also used the play $10 get $10 free play coupon.

The the buffet everything was decent except for the assholes that feel they should use their fingers to choose foods. Also to the asshole that dropped a set on tongs on the floor and left them there instead of moving them to the side. Although if you think that was bad a buffet employee picked them up and put them back on the buffet. Seriously, WTF?

After filling our bellies it was back to the machines again. We tried more five play this time and it was pretty good. Dee hit a straight flush and various other quads to get a good lead. I was very streaky going 4-5 hands with no pay offs. This will bleed you dry in a hurry. I popped in another bill and had more of the same until I scored a few quads to get back in to it. By now Dee scored dealt kings for 625 coins and some aces to go with it. I was on a come back when I pooped aces and a few other quads as well. Things got good from here and quads flowed freely with both of us hitting more aces. Things started to turn so we cashed out with a nice win of about $600.

I ran my $10 free play though in 2 hands and cashed that out at $15. I also have a huge pile of points on my B-Connected card so decided to cash some in for $500 in free play. I ran this through and was able to cash out at $518 to add some more funds to today's total.

It's now the end of another night and we came back up to the room around 11:30pm to crash.
