Day 25
Saturday July 5, 2014
Today we got up and the plan was to play as much as we could. The only hope was to not go below the profit line and end up in the red for the first time this trip. We chose to play 50¢ single line today hoping to hover Dee style and maybe even hit a royal since it's been over week since we hit one.

Everything was good here this session. We were both hitting some quads and hovering. Dee got beat up a bit and needed another bill but hit a quad and got back to even. I started to bleed and in a hail Mary attempt hit a quad on double-double bonus and switched back to bonus. Things continued good for me from there hitting more quads including fours, kings and queens. Oddly I was also filling in most of my flush 4 attempts too. Dee lost a little bit and cashed out down $100 but I cashed out up $200 for a winning session.

We went over to the deli to get something to eat. Dee had a bagel and coffee and I had a grilled cheese and fries before heading back to the machines.

This time we played the same game and had similar results. I was on quad fire and quickly had my meter up near $500. Dee was struggling without hitting any quads and needed a new bill. This time she hovered for a while but I started getting beat up. I let my meter fall to $300 for a $200 win and she kept plugging along. She was going to quit if she got down to $100 but popped quad queens to cash out even so we had another $200 profit for this session.

We met up with the cousins and got them some room reservations over at Gold Coast for their fall trip and hung out in the room for a while.

We hit the casino again after the break and had some decent results. We both hit a good amount of quads to keep playing. I hit a few bonus quads to stay alive while Dee hit enough to keep playing too. At the end of the session we were even so cashed out and went to dinner.

For dinner we all met up and went to Willy and Jose's for Mexican. I had the server break the meal down into 2 bills so we could maximize the use of my gold card and then paying the balance with points. I got the taco dinner that came with rice and beans. Dee got the spinach and mushroom enchilada. The food here is good and that's coming form someone that's not a huge fan of Mexican foods.

Now it was time for more video poker. We hit the same machines again and this time Dee popped a quad on her 3rd hand. This kept her going for the entire session. I was doing well too hitting a standard quad and then on a single ace hold hit quad aces. Sadly the machine must have thought that was a freak hand it issued by accident and immediately the bleed began. Within minutes the aces money was gone and I cashed out even as I refused to walk away a loser this session after hitting aces. Dee actually cashed out with a $100 win this time so even with the aces being gone, it was a decent session.

We moved over to the progressive triple play machines for a change of pace. Dee hit a few quads right away and I was getting dealt straights on after another. Dee's machine slowed down while I started hitting quads. None of them were bonus quads but they kept me going. Dee hit a wall and reloaded with another bill. She plugged along for a while and cashed out even. I also cashed out even after an hour of play so all in all it was a good session at the machines.

We came to the room around 11:00pm and packed it in for another day.

Total win/loss for the day $100
Total Comps for the day $332
