Day 29
Wednesday July 9, 2014
We were going to get up early today but that fell through yet again. We had an in room breakfast of the cookies I grabbed at Sam's yesterday and in room coffee (I had Pepsi).

After getting ready for the day we hit the video poker machines again. We hit the five plays again. Today things were good here for Dee. She went on a quad tear hitting one quad after another. I think she ran almost all of them including a set of aces. She also hit the dreaded king high straight flush. I was much more streaky but hit a fair share of quads. I also hit quad threes on double-double bonus during a hail Mary attempt. This session it seemed when I was up, Dee was down and when Dee was up I was down. One of these days we're both going to be on fire during the same session. I started getting low paired to death and was going WAY too many hands with no winners. I got out even and Dee took away a $100 win. This wasn't a great result but not too bad considering we got a lot of action.

We headed out for the afternoon and made a stop at the laundromat to drop off the dirty clothes.

We went to Green Valley Ranch where we'd be having dinner later on. We were early so we found some triple play machines and pounded away. I hit just one quad with few dealt winners. I lost $100 and switched machines and started to bleed there too. Quad tens on 2 lines saved me and I cashed out even on this machine. Dee also cashed out even on her machine so we only lost $100 between the two of us.

For dinner we went to Green Valley Ranch to their buffet to meet friends Anne, Steve, Jason, Terry, and Stacy. I had a few 2 for one coupons so saved us all some money. We spent a few hours here catching up on stories and having a good time together.

We got back to Aliante and took another stab at video poker. This was not a good thing. I dropped $300 in less than 30 minutes and only got $1200 in action out of it. I hit just 1 quad and only had one dealt flush. It was another session when I went Way too many hands in a row with no pay outs. Dee did a little better but not much. She was in for 2 bills and caught a few quads and another straight flush. She caught a bad streak and also went way too many hands with no pay outs. We dropped more this session in an hour than we dropped all day combined.

We came up to the room and packed up our things for tomorrow's move. We actually packed like we were going home since tomorrow is only going to be a 1 night stay and I don't want to waste the whole day moving and packing and repacking.

We got done with that and finished the night with some TV before going to bed.

Total win/loss for the day - $400
Total Comps for the day $244
