Day 30
Thursday July 10, 2014
As much as it sucks today is moving day. Even worse is it's our final move and it's only a one nighter.

I loaded up the car and we were on our way. In just a few minutes we arrived at Suncoast where we'd be spending our final night. I chose to stay here because I don't have a high daily average and knew we wouldn't have a lot of time to play. I also have no intentions to play a lot here as my mail offers have completely turned to crap going from 3 nights, $50 free play and $50 food, down to 2 nights and $25 free play and $25 food to 1 night and additional nights at $40 with no extras. That's the offer I'm booked on for tonight.

When we arrived we hit Cafe Siena for lunch. Dee had the deuces wild breakfast and I had Lei's noodle Soup with BBQ pork. The food was good here and this in one of the better noodle soups out there.

After we ate we checked in. Checking in was fast as it usually is here. I booked a handicap room and in a few minutes we were off to room 340. This room has 2 queen beds, a night stand, small table and chairs, couch, dresser, flat screen TV, arm chair and ottoman. The old TV cabinets are converted into more storage and houses a fridge and safe. It has a view of the casino roof.

The bathroom is roomy with a roll in shower, toilet and vanity. There's also a coffee maker in here too.

Once we got up there I only unpacked what we were going to need for the next 18 hours and then we headed out. The first stop was to pick up the laundry and then it was on to the strip to the Excalibur. Parking at this place is a cluster eff. I can't believe how poor parking is at a hotel with 3000 rooms. Dee has long wanted to see the Australian Bee Gee's so we were going to do that tonight. I had a coupon for $20 off from one of the freebie magazines. When we got the the box office the line was 200 people deep. I found the end of it and after waiting about 10 minutes and the line not moving Dee said, “eff it” we can do this another time.

We finally got over to the Pinball Hall of Fame so I could play some non-casino games. Dee doesn’t really care too much for this stuff so she stayed out in the car and read her book. I played here for a while and then we headed out to get something to eat.

We decided to go to Jack in the Box of all places. Dee had the 2 tacos and a vanilla milkshake and I got the tacos, a bacon cheeseburger and a vanilla shake. Everything was a good here as it can be.

We came back up here to the Suncoast to play a bit. Since we were still up a bit for the trip the plan was to NOT lose it and go home winners tomorrow. We played some single line 8/5 bonus poker for quarters. Dee did well at first hitting a bunch of quads but finished even. I did about the same with fewer quads.

The final thing to do tonight was to cash in another batch of points for $500 in free play. My points have really been piling up here at the Boyd properties from multi point days, lots of play and not having to use points for food at Main Street Station and Sam's Town. I ran this free play thought the quarter 8/5 bonus machines and turned it into $550. This was a good ending to a decent trip (except the Laughlin days) and we're going home winners.

Around 11:00 we came back up here to the room and got ready for what was going to be bed, for the final night in town.

Total win/loss for the day $550
Total Comps for the day $585
