Day 7
Friday September 25, 2015
This morning saw us starting off with breakfast at the Promenade Cafe again. Dee had the California Scramble again and I had Corned beef Hash and Eggs. This hash was not out of a can. It was pretty good but not what I was expecting.

Next up was more action on the 10 – plays. This was a mistake. Even though we both hit aces and Dee hit a straight flush and other quads she dropped $200 and I dropped $300. It was so bad for me that on my third hundred I only had 6 hands that paid more than I wagered.

We moved to the quarter five plays and things continued to be real bad for me. I was down $200 with no dealt hands better than 2 pair except for 1 three of a kind. Dee was luckier and hitting 2 regular quads, a few dealt winners, a bonus quad and aces. She saved the short session with a $200 win to off set my $200 loss. Because I was getting beat up so badly I was getting pissed off and saying fuck a lot. Dee hates when I do that and right now we are in the room and I'm in time out!

We took a break in the room and watched TV and surfed the net. Now it's time to go back to the casino and I have to be a good boy and not say fuck so much.

Back to the machines we played five play quarters again. We got pounded again this time around with few dealt winners and few quads. Before long we were walking through the grounds of the JW Marriott and just chilling. We came back up to the room and took another break including a nap.

For dinner we had reservations here at Rampart at the Carmel Room with my good friend Gary. I had the pork chop that came with sweet potatoes and green beans. Dee had snails for her appetizer and the salmon. Dee said her salmon was excellent but the escargot wasn't that good. My pork chop was excellent but on the very small side. So small in fact that I almost walked out of there still hungry. Overall the meal was good as was the company. We never run out of things to talk about when we're with Gary.

After dinner Gary left and we hit the machines again. First stop was to the player's club to activate a $10 free play coupon from the LVA MRB. Then it was back to the five plays. Dee got pounded dropping 2 bills in one of the fastest times I've ever seen her lose. I wasn't too far behind and dropped $200 myself. It was yet another rough session. I wouldn't be so bad if we got some play but we're not getting much.

We walked around the casino looking to get on the jacks or better machines but they were all full. I ended up finding a 10 coin triple play bank that had 15-9-4-4 deuces on it. Not a great play but we needed a change of pace. This worked out well since I hit quad deuces right away. Unfortunately we didn't hit much else and quickly the deuces money was gone. We hovered for a while and I popped quad deuces again saving the day from being a total blow out.

It was about 10pm now so we hit the cafe for a snack. This will tell you how small the portion was at the Carmel room earlier tonight. Dee just had a milkshake and I ordered the 3 course $9.99 meal with chicken egg rolls, 1/3 pound burger and fries and apple cobbler with ice cream. We split the egg rolls, burger and fries.

We came back to the room and finished up the night packing up and getting ready for tomorrow's move.
