Day 9
Sunday September 27, 2015
We started off today with the VIP buffet again. It was identical to yesterday and just as mediocre! The difference today is they have crab legs and prime rib along with some other higher end stuff. It normally comes with a $21 price tag so this VIP comp is pretty valuable.

After breakfast we hit the machines. This morning we played Super Times Pay Triple Play. Dee was doing well hitting quads and had a few decent multipliers but nothing major. She hovered for the whole time we played until the end and dropped just $100. I on the other hand was a bankroll buster dropping $500 in less time than her. My best hand was a dealt quad which was lost in just minutes. I only drew one other quad the whole time we played. It wasn't a good session for me and between us lost at about 10% rate to our coin in. These are the sessions that get me saying the eff word a lot!

We took a break from the video poker machines with some penny games action. We machine hopped hitting nothing major but staying alive. We took a shot with some of the Quick Hit Progressives. All I wanted to do was hit the 5 Quick hit progressive that starts at $12. We hit one bonus round which turned out to be a bust netting a total of 214 coins, 120 which we got just for making the bonus round. I eventually hit the progressive but it wasn't for 5 Quick Hits it was for 7 of them taking down the $125.06 progressive. We cashed out and came to the room for a break.

After the break we returned to the casino for more video poker action. I played 5 play STP and Dee played triple play. Dee hovered for 3 hours on $100 before finally losing it. She hit aces once and a straight flush. I was on a roller coaster ride ranging from being down $150 to being up $150. I hit aces 4 times along with a bunch of other quads. My multiplier hands weren't that great except for one regular quad with a 3x multiplier. I had an abnormal number of dealt full houses as well that kept me alive. I ended up cashing out even so between us we lost another $100 which wasn't bad at all considering we ran over 11k through the machines in this session.

During this session we also met up with Lolly from the message boards. I've been communicating with Lolly for over 15 years and finally got meet for the first time today.

After our play we took a short break up in the room and watched some TV for a while before heading back to for some dinner.

For dinner we went to Outback. Not my favorite choice when in a casino to eat at a chain restaurant but it's better than the cafe. I had rib eye sandwich and Dee chose the blooming onion of course. I don't really like onions and even I like these things. She also got a quesadilla.

We were back to the machines again after dinner. Things were streaky this time. Dee played triple and five play and went on a wild roller coaster ride with not much to talk about. I played triple and five play STP. This was also a roller coaster ride with not much to talk about. I was all over the place and not getting many multipliers. When I did they didn't turn into much. Towards the end I did get a 10x multiplier with flush 4 and actually pulled the flush on 3 lines for 750 coins. I got out of there even but Dee dropped another $300.

We were walking around deciding what to play next and I found some Spin Poker machines with Super Times Pay on them. We played a short deuces game for dimes mainly for fun and a change of pace. Dee was doing well and hit deuces twice along with a bunch of other large hits. I had a few hands with 3x multipliers where I hit a few dirty royals and a dealt straight flush. The best hand was being dealt 4 to a royal and landing the 5th card in position to hit 3 royals for a $1200 hand pay and another hit that saved the day. We cashed out with a $1300 win between us.

Next I ran my $475 free play through 50¢ jacks or better. No major hits and it was a struggle and I turned the $475 into $435 thanks to a few last minute full houses and straights.

For some fun we played some penny games with no luck at all. One machine we lost $20 and only got $40 in play. The other machines we got some action and eventually cashed out even on those.

We finished off the night with some TV and then headed to bed.
