Day 15
Saturday October 3, 2015
Today is our last day in town. We didn't really have much planned. The first thing we did was pick up our laundry and then we headed downtown. The plan was to play some at the D using my mail offers and possibly go play a bit at the Golden Nugget where we haven't played in a long time.

We hit the D and the first stop was the player's club to turn in my LVA coupon for $5 free play for every 50 points. I also collected my $100 in dining vouchers that we'd be using later on.

We started off with NSUD deuces for halves. Before we started we ran into Wayne who was already playing. We actually had plans to meet up with him later on for dinner. This was the first time we have ever met in person. I was getting my ass kicked with few premium hands. Dee on the other hand was hovering well. Lots of quints and wild royals kept her alive. By the end of the session were were down $350 between us.

We took a shot break and walked around a bit and then returned to the machines. Things were a little bit better this time around with me getting more wild royals and quints this time and Dee popping a set of deuces. We finished up the action to max out the coupon and were up $100 this time around for a $250 total loss.

We went to the slot club to get the $100 free play added to my account. After this we went over to the Golden Nugget. I hadn't played here in years and went to the players club to get a card. I was still in the system from back when Wynn owned the place. I got a couple of cards and we were off to the machines. We played for quarters and the plan was to just do a few thousand in action to see if we could start getting mail from them. We played for about an hour and and finished up even thanks to Dee hitting quad kings twice and an ultra dreaded ace low straight flush.

For dinner we went to Andiamo at the D with Wayne. Dee got the stuffed pasta called Agnolotti which were ravioli for the most part despite being called and I got the porterhouse. I also had the Mozzarella Napoletana which was mozzarella nuggets instead of sticks. Dawn got her usual snails to munch on. The entrees were excellent and the steak was cooked perfectly. One thing they bring out is a vegetable consomme to dip the meat into that was really good. I was shocked at how good it was and how it tasted like it was chicken based by itself and then beef base when it was on the meat. For dessert Dee got a coconut cake and I got chocolate layer cake that was very rich and tasty.

We had a great time dining with Wayne and we ate way too much. The bill was covered by our food vouchers that we had between us and Wayne picked up the tip. Thanks Wayne.

We all split up and me and Dee went back to the Golden Nugget to get a little more action in. This time around Dee went quadless and I hit a few but nothing major. We quit while we were down only about $75 and packed it in. We did 3k in action and we'll see of anything ever comes of it. If not then no big deal.

We went back over to the D and I had two $50 match plays from my mailer. We hit the roulette table and I played the first one on black. I watched the ball roll around and land in #10 for a $100 win. I bet the next one on black as well and watched the ball pop out of 2 black slots and land in red. Oh well, 1 our of 2 is good for a $50 win.

To finish up the play for the day I ran my $175 in free play through the 8/5 bonus progressives for quarters. I didn't hit any quads but hit enough larger hands to stay alive and cashed out with over $150. In total for the day we only lost about $50 at the D.

We wrapped up our day early and went to the room to clean up our stuff and get packed for tomorrow's flight home.

Total win/loss for the day - $150
