Day 7
Tuesday March 1, 2016
We started off this morning stopping at the Total Rewards Center and the box office to get tickets to see Anthony Cools at Paris later tonight.

We headed out after this and made a quick stop at Einstein Brothers for a snack to hold us over until lunch on the way to the laundromat to drop off our clothes for fluff and fold service.

Next went downtown to pretty much repeat the things we did earlier in the trip. Today we went to Four Queens. We both had mailers for $225 in free play and planned on giving them our normal amount of action. I also booked the room so we'd have a place to take a break during the day today and tomorrow. The room also comes with $50 in food credits. We started off on my card and played $1 9/6 jacks. We got the action through on my card and were down big. It was one of the worst sessions ever on jacks. I hit no quads and flush 4 was killing me. I was getting low paired to death and when I was dealt a high pair I couldn't improve it. Dee hit 2 quads but it just wasn't enough. I even did a few hundred through DDB hoping for a quad with no luck. Over $1500 later we went to lunch.

Before lunch we stopped by the front desk to check in so I could get the room and charge the meal back to use the $50 credit. There was a trainee there so it took a little longer than usual but we were soon given room 1537 in the South Tower.

For lunch we ate at Magnolia's. I just had a bowl of the gumbo with a side of rice again and Dee had the Garden Frittata. Food was standard Four Queens fare.

We switched to Dee's card and repeated the process. This session was much better with a good amount of quads and Dee even hit a straight flush. Sadly she even hit aces 4 times. There was a point during this session were were up over $700 between us but of course the machines turned and sucked most of that back. Once we had her action through we were still up but only $200 for the session.

We chose to run our free play through 50¢ jacks. I turned my $225 into $220 and Dee turned hers into $270.

We went to the room for a break after the ass kicking. This is room 1537 in the South Tower. It's got 2 queen beds, a nightstand, dresser, flat screen TV and work desk. It's got a great view of the Downtown Grand and the rest of the downtown area. The bathroom is very small and in need of renovation. It's got your standard vanity, toilet and tub. The tub is so close to the toilet, as a guy, you could choose to pee in either.

After the break we headed back to the Linq and then went to dinner.

For dinner we went to Center Cut over at the Flamingo. I had the Filet with a twice baked potato side and Dee had the chicken Alfredo and a Brushetta appetizer. All in all this was a good meal and we were satisfied. We topped it off with some chocolate lava cake. The bill was just about $100 so I used my final 2015 7* celebration dinner voucher to cover the bill.

It was show time now so we headed over to Paris. We were early for the show so we wandered around Paris for a while and saw Ned the Dealer who I go way back with in my Fiesta Henderson days. We also played the electronic craps game with the pop – o – matic dice. I was only playing for fun and to kill time so my bets were small. It was too bad because I had a 27 roll turn, followed by a 3 roll turn and then a 17 roll turn. Boy could I have made some money. It was show time so I cashed out a $75 win.

This show is hypnotism with a dirty edge. There is some foul language but not over the top. He takes volunteers and puts them under and gets them to do some dumb shit. It was really funny and was worth the ticket price of zero. Even the regular priced tickets are only around $50 and I don't think I would have felt ripped off had I paid. Since every show is different I would actually go see this again in the future.

We came back here to the Linq and gave them my customary low level of play. We found a deuces game with a bad pay table and ran just over 1k through it losing the $75 I won on craps and another $100 on top of it.

We wrapped up the night up here in the room with some TV.
