Day 9

We were up early this morning and started with a mini breakfast at Starbucks and yet another trip to the pool.

For lunch we had plans to meet with our friend Carol at the buffet at 1pm. The buffet here isn't that great while it's not bad either. I've eaten worse but certainly had much better. We ate way too much but had a great time visiting.

Carol left and we started off by activating Dee's free play for the day and then hit the machines for a while. We sat at the usual spin poker machines and I quickly hit a bunch of quads, a straight flush and had a hand with 5 regular quads. From there it was all over for me and I struggled to stay alive. Dee hit a bunch of quads including a spin with 2 quad aces twice. She was streaky and all over the place too. We actually had a good session overall getting in all of our play for the day and only losing $3! I'll take a day like this every day (they sure can't all be like yesterday).

We ran Dee's final installment of $100 free play through single line video poker turning it into $76 which was a gift considering she didn't hit much of anything while she got low paired to death.

On the way through the casino we stopped by the roulette wheel to play Dee's match play from the ACG. She chose black and red 1 came up for a $10 loss.

We came back up to the room to pack up our things for tomorrow's move. It's hard to believe we've already spent 6 nights here.

For dinner I went to the Promenade Cafe and got some food to go. I had the Rampart Club (turkey, bacon, ham, cheese, lettuce & tomato) with fries. Dee had a California Wrap that had chicken and a bunch of vegetables in it. I brought it back up here and we watched TV while we ate.

This pretty much wrapped up another day and we watched TV until we went to sleep.
