Day 11

We were up early this morning and like we've done most of the trip so far hit and the pool for a while.

We came back to the room and got ready for the rest of the day. For breakfast I ran down to Duet and got some juice and bagels.

We went out to take our dirty clothes to the laundromat for Fluff and Fold service. Since the laundromat closed in Laughlin we found one over in Bullhead City in the same plaza that Safeway is in. While we were out I gassed up the beast in Arizona (gas is substantially cheaper over there).

We came back to the Aquarius and had lunch at the buffet. The buffet here kind of sucks but it's not terrible and it's got a decent variety. It's very over priced at $16 per person for lunch (before player card discount). We ate too much and rolled out of the buffet.

Next up video poker was the plan (go figure) and we chose to start with 10 play today. The session was decent with Dee hitting aces right off the bat, followed by a straight flush. Soon after that she hit a hand with 2 straight flushes. I was plugging along with noting special hitting. That was when I was dealt 4 to a royal and scored a bunch of shit. Luckily soon after that I got dealt a straight flush for 2500 coins. We continued to pound away but things started going south so we decided to cash out with a $700 win.

To try and preserve some of the gains we switched to triple play. Dee was doing fine but I was getting slammed. Low pairs were the name of the game for me and flush four killed me. Dee hit a few bonus quads and regular quads while getting lots of dealt winners. I wasn't getting dealt much of anything. I got trips dealt only twice and luckily they both netted 1 quad. I did my Hail Mary attempt and switched to Double-double and on my last hand scored a quad. I cashed out down just over $100 and Dee cashed out dead even.

We decided to take a walk down the river walk to take a break from gaming noting the changes since the last time we did that.

We came back to the Aquarius and took another shot at video poker. This time we played Spin Poker. This was a disaster for me. I dropped $200 on only $700 in play. The only dealt winners I had were a pair of queens twice and trip kings. It's pretty hard to win at this game when you have to draw to all of your winners. Dee hit a bonus quad right away but that was about all. She did a little better than I did though getting close to 2k in action before busting out of 2 bills. Between us we dropped $400 in about 20 minutes.

We came up to the room to take a break and watched some TV.

For dinner I went to Duet to pick up a few sandwiches and breakfast for the morning. Dee had a turkey wrap and I had a roast beef paninni. Then we split a brownie for dessert.

We wrapped up the day with some TV and then bed
