Day 28
Sunday July 10, 2016
We got up and started the day with a final meal on the silver card before we wrapped up our stay at Main Street Station. We went to the Triple 7. Dee didn't want lunch so had chocolate cake and coffee. I had an Oriental Chicken Salad.

We left Main Street Station and went to M. Before we went there we drove past and went so some art exhibit out in the desert with neon colored rocks all stacked up. Not my kind of thing but Dee wanted to see them.

We went to M because I had a mailer for $50 free play and a free buffet. They are also running a play and eat promo so I could get a second buffet free. We stated off with deuces wild triple play progressives. The progressives were at $1046, $1708, and $1400. There is not much to report other than feeding in a bunch of bills. Few dealt winners, particularly quads and very few wild royals. I eventually got dealt a wild royal but it certainly wasn't enough. Dee managed to pull four deuces on the top line on a single deuce hold. Those 2 hits kept the session from being total disaster but we still dropped $600 between us on 10k in action.

We went to the buffer for an early dinner. It was seafood night and this buffet is 40 buck per person. It was total chaos in this place. We were second in line and we waited for 15 minutes to be seated yet there were easily 20 empty tables in sight. The problem was they were all dirty. We were finally seated and tables that were dirty before we got there weren't cleaned for another 20 minutes. I'm not sure what the issue was. Either they were short staffed or the employees just suck. Either way, the buffet manager should be fired. Add to this chaos the badly behaving customers and Dee was about to explode. I found that funny because usually I'm the one that is like that.

This buffet used to be one of the best in town. While it's still very good it's also got one of the highest prices in town as far as locals places go. The quality has steadily gone downhill over the years. Tonight I noticed multiple items not cooked properly like pizza that still had raw dough in it. Fries that weren't left in the fryer long enough and were still white and egg rolls that were so limp and soggy they flopped over when you picked them up. I can say the prime rib was excellent especially compared to the crap Main Street Station served last night.

After dinner I ran my free play through quarter 8/5 aces bonus single line. It wasn't good as I lost almost every hand and on the hands I won it was just a pair of jacks. It was only $25 when I was done. We cashed out and got out of M.

Next was the strip to Treasure Island where we will be staying for the next 3 nights. This is also our final move of the trip. Based on our play last December we both got offers for a 3 night stay and $150 in free play. This is one of the asshole places that actually makes you check in to get the free play so we both had reservations.

We checked in at the invited guest area. Even though were waked right up to the counter it still took 15 minutes to check in. We had a guy that worked in slow motion and all he wanted to do was talk. I'm glad it wasn't busy or checking in here would have taken a long time. I was assigned room 15084 and Dee was assigned room 15018.

Room 15084 is a deluxe accessible room with queen beds, a nightstand, dresser, work desk and flat screen TV, arm chair and small end table. The bathroom is spacious with a vanity, roll in shower and toilet. There are safety bars in the appropriate places and Dee will be comfortable here. It has a view of Trump, Fashion Show Mall and Wynn and in the distance you can see Circus – Circus and Stratospere.

Room 15018 is a king room and is identical to room 15084 except it's not handicap accessible and the bathroom is laid out a little differently and has a larger vanity. It's also got a strip view.

We got our things set up for our stay and then hit the casino. We only plan on playing one day on each of our cards. Tonight we'd be playing on Dee's card and hit the machines. We were playing for halves and things here were steady for a while but then my machine sucked me dry. I only hit one quad. Dee hit a straight flush and a quad but she too got sucked dry. We both fed in more bills and I quickly blew through those too. I switched to dollars for a few minutes and got dealt a quad and switched back to halves. We took a short break and went to the other bank we liked to play but found ½ of those were being played and the other half was now slots. We went back to the original bank to finish up. Dee played halves and I played dollars. I got dealt another quad and pulled a few more to stay alive. Dee hovered and hit quad fours 3 times.

Next we ran Dee's free play through half dollars. She did well turning her $150 free play into $150 cash. We also cashed in her points from the last 2 trips for another $50 in free play and that turned into $20 cash as her session was like mine at M.

We got our action in and finished down about $200 after the free play eased some losses.

We stopped over at the CVS that's attached to the casino and got some cereal and milk for breakfast. Being here for so long eating in restaurants is really getting old.

We came up to the room and went to bed at around 1:00am.
