Day 2
Saturday December 10, 2016
Nothing better than waking up in Las Vegas for the first full day of fun. We slept in and started off with some quick breakfast at the Vig Deli. I had a Spinach & Berry Salad and Dee had a breakfast sandwich. It's eggs, ham and cheese and your choice of bread. She had it on a toasted bagel.

The next order of business was to swipe at kiosk to activate my 10x points on slots and 2x points on video poker.

We started off at the triple play progressives again and some deuces wild. The top progressive had just been hit so the meters were $1174, $1121 & $1007. It was an ass kicking to say the least. I was losing at about a 20% loss rate but Dee held her own for quite a while. She started getting killed too despite getting dealt quints and dealt wild royals. When we'd stopped playing we'd dumped over a grand and barely had 10k in action.

We took a walk over to the promotions booth and collected three 12oz bottles of Patron Cafe Dark Cocoa based on play which is the max allowed. I looked it up online and these bottles sell for $12 at Total Wine right here in town.

For a break from gaming we took a drive to 99¢ Only to get a few things and then drove over to Savers for Dee to get some books.

We came back to M after that and rested up in the room for a while still not recovered from yesterday's long day.

For dinner we went to the buffet using my 2 free buffets coupon from my mailer. Tonight is their seafood buffet and it's $40 per person so we're getting maximum value out of this coupon. Unfortunately I don't like seafood and Dee eats very little of it so other than being able to say we maxed out the coupon, we really didn't do much damage. When this buffet opened it was one of the best in town. It's declined since then but it's still one of the better buffets out there. One of the perks is that it also comes with beer and wine.

As always we both ate way too much and were stuffed when we left. This is why I typically avoid going to buffets too often while we're out here.

After dinner we hit the machines again and more deuces hoping things would balance out from this morning. Instead of deuces we played a bank of Super Triple Play machines. We started with five play but got our asses kicked in a matter of minutes so switched to triple play instead. It smoothed out a bit and Dee even hit aces for 1200 coins along with some other quads. There just weren't enough quads or dealt winners to survive and we lost a few more hundred.

I still had my $75 from my mail offer and ran that through 50¢ Aces Bonus and turned it into $60 cash. Two different hands I finished with 4 to a royal. That would have been sweet.

I also had $145 worth of points so cashed those in for free play and ran them through the triple play deuces machines. I hit just about nothing and turned that into $112. For the evening after free play and point redemption we were just about even after another 10k in action.

We came up to the room to wind down and get ready to move tomorrow and watched TV before we finally went to bed.
