Day 3
Sunday December 11, 2016
When we got up today we got ready for the move and packed up the rest of our things.

Before we checked out I asked for a casino host to see if our few food charges could be comped. It wasn't which I found tight based on our action. The host I spoke to said because I was on an offer and they value it at $280 my play didn't cover that. His excuse was if you're on an offer they can comp 10% of your theo. If you're not on an offer they can comp 20%. So I said it sounds like if I book through a host I get comped better and he said yes. That's ass backwards to the way most places do it. I told him it was kind of tight to have run over 30k through the machines between us and he couldn't comp $75 in food.

A few minutes later when we checked out the bill was only in to $40 range and the charge for Marinelli's wasn't there any more so we walked out with a bill of under $50. Better but I was not happy having to pay for food here. Basically what I'm going to do is use $50 from the bankroll to cover this because had I not cashed out the points for free play I would have used them to cover the bill.

For lunch we went out to Arizona Charlie's Decatur and the Sourdough Cafe. Dee had pancakes and eggs with sausage & hash browns. I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a chef's salad. Both were very good and Dee enjoyed hers too.

We headed out of Arizona Charlie's and headed up the strip to Treasure Island where we'd be spending the next 3 nights. We both got mail offers for 3 nights and $150 in free play. This is one of the asshole places that actually makes you book the room to get the free play so we both have reservations. We were able to check in at the invited guest area. I asked for connecting rooms. Even though we didn't need both of them I figured if we at least had connectors it would be kind of like having a suite!

They did connecting room and we were checked into rooms 14063 & 14065. Both rooms are identical kings with nightstands, sitting area, work desk, dresser and flat screen TV. The bathroom is is room with a long vanity, toilet and standard tub. It has a view of Spring Mountain Road and Trump Tower.

We threw our things into the room and then it was time to hit the street. And walk over to Caesars Palace to go see Jeff Dunham. When we got to the Colosseum they scanned our tickets and they came up invalid. This was odd. A supervisor got it cleared up in a few minutes but we don't know what the issue was.

We were seated in Section K seats 501 & 502. Not a bad seat but much farther back than we were last summer when we saw him at Planet Hollywood. This is my first time in this arena and I can confirm that there are no bad seats in it but the upper levels are far from the stage. The show was great and full of laughs. Jeff also tried out some new material and a new character. The show went long and we got out of there at 6:20pm and the show started at 4:00pm.

We came back to TI and hit the jacks machines. The way they calculate offers here is screwy and I don't have a future offer for the next quarter and Dee's offer got cut to 2 nights midweek with no free play. Because of this the plan is to short play, take the rooms and free play and not look back. We hit the VP machines and played for halves. It wasn't a good session especially for Dee. Who dropped $100 in about 5 minutes. I did a bit better hitting some full houses and a quad. Dee ran her free play through and her bad luck continues as her $150 in free play became just $110 in cash. I ran mine through and didn't do much better and turned it into $120 in cash.

Since we had a big lunch we didn't eat dinner but went to CVS and got some snacks for the room.

We came back to the room and watched TV until we went to sleep.
