Day 6
Wednesday December 14, 2016
We got up and got ourselves ready for the day, packed up and headed out of Treasure Island. Today's travels will take us to Laughlin and the 90 mile trek through the middle of no where.

We stopped at Panera Bread out in Henderson for a quick breakfast and then it was on to Laughlin.

The drive was uneventful and we were eventually on our way down the mountain and in Laughlin. A few minutes later we were pulling in to Harrah's where we would be spending the night.

When we arrived it was a bit early but we were allowed to check in. This stay was booked on a mail offer that Dee got (her offers are better despite me being 7* and her only diamond and our play is similar). This offer was good for 4 nights (we booked 2 even though we only need one), $65 in food and $70 free play.

When I booked the reservation I specified we did not want a north tower. This request was granted. We were given room 21674 in the Central tower.

We got the stuff up to the room and just unpacked a couple of things that we need since we'll be leaving tomorrow. We just chilled out in the room for a bit and then went downstairs.

Dee had an appointment at 2pm to get her hair done at the Salon here so I took her downstairs to do that and I hit the video poker machines. Today we'd be playing on Dee's card and the game of choice was bonus deuces on the nickel 50 plays. It was up and down here but I hovered for quite a while. I had a good hand dealt to me with 3 deuces. I hit 2 sets of quad deuces ans a bunch of other stuff for a 4000 coin hit.

I was plugging along and Dee came up from her appointment. She took the machine next to me but was getting beat up a bit. She did get a straight flush dealt to her but it wasn't enough. She ended up losing $200 here and I broke even despite having been up over $200 at one time.

For a low end dinner we went to the diamond lounge and feasted on soup, salads and cookies.

When we were done with dinner we went and got Dee's free play at the cage. We ran it through some carnival games and turned the $70 into $5 in cash and didn't get much play out of it.

Next up was to get the rest of Dee's action in. We chose 3/5 play deuces wild. It was streaky and Dee was getting beat up more. I was hovering and doing ok doubling up for a few seconds. During the session I got dealt a wild royal. The killer of the session was being dealt natural quad nines, drawing a natural straight flush (where was that last night at The D?) and Dee getting dealt natural quad fives. Dee's ass kicking took 4 bills out of the bankroll but I won $100 when we were all done.

Since we had enough action in for the day we decided we'd just take it easy up in the room and watched TV and surfed the net until we went to bed.

Total win/loss for the day - $500
Total Comps for the day $209
Total Coin - In for the day $13950
