Happy Boxing Day To My Canadian Readers
We slept in today and had in room breakfast with yesterday's leftovers.

Today is 2x points here at Rampart so we planned on pounding it out today. We started off with Spin Poker. I hovered for the most part but Dee was getting beat up. She blew through $300 in no time and reloaded. Things leveled off for her for a while and I started my downward spiral until I hit a triple quad and got back into it. Dee was starting to get beat on again and made a Hail Mary attempt to double – double and caught a triple bonus quad (no kicker) to get her meter back up. She switched back to bonus and started losing again but did hit one more quad. She finished down $300 for the session while I got out even.

We moved to 3/5 play next and tried our luck at deuces. Not much happened here other than wild $100 swings in both directions. No quad ducks or any big dealt winners. We both lost $200 here for another $400 loss as I'm seeing yesterday's wins disappear.

We took a break from VP and played $20 in a variety of penny slots. We hopped around the casino for quite a while (racking up 4x points). It was fun and we hit some decent bonus rounds on some games and hitting nothing on others. We played for a long time losing only $14 of the $20. Even though it wasn't a cash win based on the amount of time we played, it sort of was.

I thought we'd take a shot next with some 10 play quarters. Dee hovered and I hit a set of aces on a jack, ace hold. I was getting a good amount of dealt winners but just couldn't get that much wanted dealt quad or drawn royal. Dee hovered for the short session. While we were playing Yahtzee Mike and Camela snuck up behind us and scared the shit out of both of us. I'd call them both fuckers but Camela brought cookies so all is forgiven!

We found another bank to play on so all of us could play together. This bank was hot for Mike and Camela but I couldn't hit a thing. No dealt winner and couldn't draw a thing. I only got dealt one three of a kind the whole time I played and one straight. In no time I was down $500. Dee was doing a bit better and popped a few quads along the way and actually quit with a $100 win to help ease the pain a bit but, just a bit.

We switched to dimes and deuces. I continued to have the same issues of no dealt winners. I again busted out in no time. Dee was hovering for most of the session and had multiple hands where she hit 2 or 3 wild royals to stay alive. She also hit a set of ducks to save her session. She got out even while I dropped more cash and almost everything we won yesterday was gone.

For dinner we went to Red Rock to meet Norm. We went to the buffet and it was jam packed. Neither of us had ever been to this buffet before so it was good to try it out. Norm used some of his many points to cover the bill for the 5 of us. We ate like pigs and had a good time visiting together. Thanks for dinner Norm!

We all played some video poker after dinner mainly to keep our points active. I tried to get on the 99% games but they were all full so settled for 8/5 bonus. I hit a quad right away holding just one card. Dee hit a quad a few minutes later. I though this was going to end up being a good session until I lost 15 straight hands after my quad, hit a few pairs and two pairs and lost about 15 more. My meter was now lower than before I hit the quad. Dee hit another and was carrying the team while I bled and bled. I looked over at her machine and she was cashing out even just minutes after she was up almost $50. What looked like it was going to be a good session turned into an even one for Dee and a $50 loss for me. We had now officially lost everything we won yesterday. Mike and Camela didn't do well either. I went to a kiosk and played some stupid snowball game and won 2000 points. Another typical Station Casinos giveaway where they say they are giving $2,000,000 in prizes away but give $2 to 1,000,000 people. I'm all for more winners with smaller prizes but this sort of shit is ridiculous.

We came back to Rampart and Mike and Camela left to go back to the Orleans where they were staying. We were going to just call it a night but it was still pretty early so I decided I was going to go to the casino and check the craps table. I got there and people seemed to be doing well. I bought in and the table continued to do well. Lots of number and lots of points. They have a good game here with 10x odds. Nine seemed to be the number of the night and the guy next to me said it probably hit 40 times since he'd gotten there. When he got the dice I placed the nine for $50. He proceeded to hit it over and over again. Each time it hit I raised my bet by 1 unit and got it to $200 eventually. He had a good roll hitting lots of other numbers too before he went out.

One thing I thought was strange was the dealers here done seem to color up chips during play. They just kept giving small denomination chips even on bigger wins. I had over $500 in reds in front of me and over $1000 in greens but not a single black. The guy next to me said he bought in for $200 and before I got there the table was super hot (of course). He had so many chips he had three racks full of chips all quarter, nickels and bullets. He'd hit a hard for $225 and they'd give him more greens. When he cashed out he had 2k in greens, $600 in reds and over 80 singles. I just don't get it. WTF is wrong with these dealers and box men here. Other than that the dealers were good and knew what they were doing.

Speaking of cashing out, things started going south so I decided it was time to get while the getting was good. I had no idea how much I had in front of me because of all the small chips these guys were handing me but I did know I was up nicely. By the time they sorted out all of my chips I had $1500 and change for a win of just over $1000. Thankfully craps this trip has really saved my ass because the video poker hasn't been that good.

After craps I just came back up to the room and watched some TV and then went to bed.
