Day 3

We started today with a short trip to the pool again. A quick brown and serve and we were on our way back to the room.

Once we got ready we went downtown where we would be playing at Binion's. We both got mail offers that have $150 in free play along with 3 nights and $50 food credit (not using).

When we got to Binion's we saw AP playing VP. We were going to the deli for a light lunch and he gave us his $20 ticket from the mother lode game. We both got the ½ sandwich and soup (cream of mushroom). I got roast beef and Dee got BLT. AP joined us and had a drink while we ate. Thanks AP!

After lunch settled in at our usual machines and began to pound away on 8/5 bonus on my card. Dee was hitting nothing and blew through 3 bills in no time. A $200 reload had her hovering. I was hitting enough quads to keep alive but between quads bled. Flush 4 and a pair of fives were my nemesis today. I couldn't hit a flush to save my ass and I was probably dealt a pair of fives 30 times and connected with a winner 3 times. When we got the desired amount of play in we were up $35. I went over and took my swipes on the mother-lode kiosks and scored a 2 for 1 entree at the cafe on spin 1, $10 food at the cafe or deli on spin 2 and $20 at the cafe or BBQ on spin 3. I went to the players club to have the 2x points (up to 500) coupon from the ACG added to my account as well as the LVA coupon for $10 free play.

We switched to Dee's card and she popped aces right away. She never looked back from there. I on the other hand got crushed dropping 3 bills in 20 minutes. I reloaded and got through the rest of the session with no damage. Once we got our play through on her card we were up $115 and went over to the mother load kiosks to take her spins. She got a root beer float on spin 1, $10 off at the cafe or BBQ on spin 2 and $20 off at the cafe or deli on spin 3. Between this trip and the trip in December all we have gotten is food comps and gifts from this promo and not a single free play award in 12 consecutive spins.

We went to the players club after this to have the 2x points (up to 500) coupon from the ACG added to her account as well as the LVA coupon for $10 free play.

With our free play we ran it through the 8/5 bonus progressives for quarters. I turned my $160 into $132 and she turned her $160 in to $165.

With our play done at Binion's it was now time for dinner. Tonight for dinner we went to Benny's Smokin' BBQ & Brews with our friend AP. Dee got the ½ chicken and I got the full rack of ribs. As always the food was good and the prices are right. We used the mother lode wins & comps to cover the bill and then we were on our way.

We made a quick stop on the way back to the Palms at 99¢ Only to get a few things and then came back to the Palms.

Once back at the Palms it was already time to start packing up for our first move of the trip tomorrow.
