Day 14
Monday July 3, 2017
Today is moving day so when we got up we packed up our bags and got ready to head out. There was no rush to get out since we were up early and had the rooms until noon. It's actually hard to believe that the 5 nights went by so fast.

We met up with the cousins and left around 11:30 and started back to Las Vegas. We took the other way back through Nipton up to the 15 and into Primm. We stopped at the Outlets there for a bit to see if they had a few things. We got what was needed and then back onto 15 and into Las Vegas. It was getting late and we hadn't had lunch yet so since we were passing by M decided we'd us our July coupons for free buffets there. It one of the better ones out there and the price was right. There was a bit of a wait to get in but it didn't take long since we were in the VIP line. The regular line was huge though.

After lunch we made a quick stop at 99¢ Only on Blue Diamond and then another quick stop at Albertsons.

We still had quite a way to go yet though because today's move would take us all of the way to Summerlin where we'd be returning to the J.W. Marriott at Rampart.

We checked in and everything was in order with Dee having a regular room for the cousins for the next 3 nights and with me having a suite for the next 6 nights. We both got mail offers for this stay that were for 3 nights. Mine was for $525 free play and Dee's is for $300 in free play. My host said she'd match Dee's offer to mine but with her departure from the property I was again unsure of what was going to happen. Last week with the same situation I didn't push the issue.

I was given room 6244 in the Palms tower. Dee was given room 5203 also in the same tower. 5203 is a standard room like we had last week when we were here. 6244 is a 1 bedroom suite. When you walk in there is a powder room to the left with a vanity and toilet. Farther into the room is the dining area with a round table with chairs. The living room has a couch with a work desk behind it. There's an arm chair and coffee table and TV cabinet. To the right of the living room is the wet bar area with sink, fridge and coffee maker. Through the door is the bedroom with a king bed, nightstands, chair and TV cabinet. To the right of the bedroom area is a hallway. On the left of the hallway is a walk in closet. In the bathroom which is huge there is a “hers” vanity. To the left is the shower stall. Behind the vanity is the toilet room and farther in the bathroom is the “his” vanity. Behind the vanity is the whirlpool tub.

We got our things up to the room and settled in and the cousins came down to hang out for a while.

Next up we hit the casino. We played some 10 play bonus. Not much happening here other than the normal roller coaster ride that 10 play offers. Initially Dee was getting killed. Then she had a come back and I started getting killed. She hit aces and various other quads. I also hit a few quads but not nearly enough to keep going. Between us we dropped $600 and moved on.

We went to the player's club to get her free play activated and also turned in the coupon from the LVA for $10 in free play. When she activated her free play there was a kiosk game available to play and she won $15 on that giving her a total of $125 for the night.

We moved to Spin Poker and Dee was getting absolutely crushed while I hovered. She was into hail Mary mode in what seemed like just a few minutes. A few hands in she got dealt quad sixes and was not only back into it, she was up. Following this she switched back to bonus and hit a few more quads and was up $400. She cashed out with a $300 profit. I was dropping like a rock but on my last hand while in hail Mary mode got dealt a full house for $100 and only cashed out down $100 giving us a net win of $200 on Spin Poker.

We moved to single line halves after this. I went the whole time without a quad but got a decent amount of play dropping $100. Dee got slammed and in a hail Mary hit quad eights on double – double and switched back to bonus where she got crushed again.

We finished the night running today's free play through the machines turning the $125 into $295 in cash thanks to Dee hitting quad aces on bonus poker.

We had a pretty long day at this point so decided to just come up to the room and take it easy for the rest of the evening with some TV.
