Day 18

We started off the day with in room breakfast. Then hit the casino and started off playing Spin Poker. A pretty dull session with Dee getting slaughtered for $500 in no time and me hitting a few quads and getting out even as yesterday's losing ways continued.

We switched to 3/5 play and Dee was hovering hitting a few quads here and there. I was struggling and was down $150 in no time thanks to no dealt winners and only getting dealt trips twice. I moved machines and hit a few quads but lost them as fast as I hit them. I couldn't get dealt anything to even hold. I had a lot of junk hands. It was painful to bleed this fast.

While we were playing Yahtzee Mike and Camela arrived. We played together for a while and I continued to lose but Dee cashed out even.

For lunch we went to the Buffet here at Rampart with Yahtzee Mike and Camela. It's quick and easy and not very good but you can find enough to fill the void.

After lunch we hit the casino again and played 10 play. Dee was doing well and hit aces twice. I was getting crushed. I dropped another 5 bills in near record time. I took a short break while everyone else continued to play. 15 minutes later I came back and Dee's meter was right where it was when I left. That was good. The bad was the drain that happened soon after that and she lost everything she was up and everything she started with. I for a change started to hover. I hit aces twice and was up a bit for a while but then bad things started happening again. I cashed out even with Dee down another $300 as almost everything we were up was gone. It took over 2 weeks to earn it and 2 days to lose it all.

We started playing deuces for nickels on slow speed just to stop the bleeding and to be able to hang out with Mike and Camela. Of course Dee pops deuces. I was doing well and with a bunch of dealt winners got up a bit too. We stopped with a $100 profit between us and switched to quarters.

Dee immediately hit deuces. Soon after I got 3 deuces on the deal and got them on 2 lines on the draw. Not much else happened during this time for me but Dee started getting beat up. We took a break for dinner and cashed out of deuces with a $550 win.

I stopped by the host office to meet my new host since my previous one left. It went well and he did end up matching Dee's offer to mine but since we were done with play on her card he added the $225 to my card. He also took care of the few charges on Dee's room that that cousins were in.

For dinner we went over to Suncoast to meet up with Jimbo and Katy. We went to DuPars. I had never been here before but have heard about the pancakes so had to try them. They get rave reviews and I can say there are pretty good. But I think the reason everyone loves them so much is they are loaded with butter. Seriously, if you don't like butter, avoid them. If you do like butter, dig in! Jimbo paid the bill using some of his many points on his B-Connected card and I left a tip. Thanks for dinner Jimbo!

After dinner Dee hit the machines with Katy to play video poker and I played blackjack with Jimbo. The session was rough to begin with then got good and then got rough. While we were playing Dee and Katy showed up at the table and Dee showed me a ticket that had $166 in profit on it. Turns out she hit a royal playing nickels. They went up to the room to hang out and we continued to play cards. I got close to even but one deck killed that dream. I lost $175. So between my blackjack loss and Dee's royal we only lost $9 here tonight. Not bad for a few hours of entertainment.

We came back to Rampart hit the casino again after dinner and got in some more video poker action. That action was on 3/5 play. Dee played deuces and I played bonus. I was just getting crushed with no winners and lots of junk hands. I blew through $200 in about 15 minutes. Dee was hovering but hit a cold spell and dropped $100.

It was getting late so I loaded today's allotted free play and ran it through deuces turning the $400 (my $175 + Dee's $225) in free play into $300 cash in another run of nothing but junk hands.

On the way back through the casino I see Mike at the bank we were playing earlier that day. As I get closer to the machine I see it's locked up for a hand pay and then as I get closer see it's for $4000. He got dealt a royal playing dimes. He was pretty effing excited to say the least!

We wrapped up the night in the room with TV and then crashed.
