Day 3

We decided to go to start off the day by chilling in the room. Dee read and watched TV and I got caught up on my internet stuff.

For “lunch” we stopped by Einstein Brothers and grabbed a couple of bagels. I had butter and Dee had cream cheese. We ate light because we have dinner plans at the Rio Buffet later tonight.

We finally headed out of there and went to a different Savers to get Dee more books and then a quick stop at Target for a few survival items.

We went back to the Rio this afternoon. I've still got the room there and we have dinner plans tonight. We'll also play on Dee's card. She's also got her 2017 Diamond Celebration Dinner to use.

Our first stop was to go to the Total Rewards to get Dee's $100 dinner ticket.

For dinner we went to Rio's buffet and met our friend Norm there. This buffet isn't what it once was. I've also noticed more downgrades since we were here in the summer. Still a huge selection and as always at a buffet, we ate way too much.

After dinner we said our good byes to Norm and we went to the video poker machines. We played $1 8/5 bonus to get some action on Dee's card. I was doing well right away with some full houses and flushes and then hit a bonus quad. Dee was getting beat up but hit quad nines but then the bleed started and she busted out. I was up over $300 and as soon as she busted out I started to bleed. Not wanting to dump anything here tonight I cashed out at $405 and took the $5 win for the day just as sort of an eff you to Caesars Entertainment.

We came back here to the Palms after this. We started getting ready for the move tomorrow and relaxed with some TV and then sleep.
