Day 9
Tuesday December 19, 2017
Today was another day with little planned so we chilled in the room this morning for a while. I decided this would be a good day to go to the Pinball Hall of Fame. Dee was going to stay here and read, watch TV and surf the net.

My first stop along the way was for a snack at McDonald's for a McDouble to hold me over this afternoon.

Next up was a quick stop at the Hard Rock. I wanted to stop in and see the old crew and tell them I ran into one of their former colleges back in NY who is now a truck driver. There was a hot shooter on the table and they suggested I buy in. The problem was I had very little cash on me as I'd left my bankroll locked up because I didn't need it at the Pinball Hall of Fame. I bought in for a $100 just to play. I only wish I had some more cash on me. It was just me and another shooter on the game. He was in the middle of a roll when I got in (he just made a point). He rolled for a few minutes landing lots of numbers before the dreaded 7. He colored up and it was just me. At this point I was doubled up. I should have quit but it was my turn to shoot. I'm glad I didn't quit. I rolled solo n this table for the next 15 minutes. 15 minutes is a long time on a full table. On a dead game it's a monster. I won another $200 and change on my roll, colored up, said good bye to the crew and ran out of there. The $300 win was nice but I know how much I would have won had I had some cash on me! Oh well, $300 is better than no hundred.

From the Hard Rock it was off to the Pinball Hall of Fame and a couple hours of good, inexpensive fun. I highly recommend this place for bankroll preservation!

When I returned it was time for Dee's therapy. Normally we'd go to the gym for that but instead I worked with her here in the room and out in the hallway.

This evening we put Dee's action on her card and it was pretty good. She hit another nickel royal but this time managed to keep ½ of it and cashed out with a $100 win.

We ran her free play through some penny slots and turned her $40 into $8 cash. Welcome to the strip and the tightest slots in town!

For dinner we went to the food court again. Dee had chili and I had chicken tacos. The tacos were as basic as you get with shredded chicken, lettuce and cheese. Dee's chili was good and a little spicy. We used the daily food credit to cover the bill.

We came back to the room to wind down, watch TV and get ready for tomorrow's move.
