Day 20
Saturday December 30, 2017
This morning we slept in again. Dee is feeling much better and I'm not doing too bad either. She certainly took this one a lot worse than I did.

Once we were up and motivated it was time for food. We had lunch at the Promenade Cafe. I had the hot turkey 3 course with chicken egg rolls and apple cobbler. Way too much food but the same price as the turkey alone. Dee had a bagel with cream cheese again as she's still not near 100% yet.

After lunch it was time to get back to the machines again. We tried 10 play again and Dee got whacked for 5 bills on only 2 . 5k in action. Her best hand was a dealt full house and a couple of quads. I was doing better with multiple dealt full houses, a few quads and aces twice. I cashed out +$150 on the same action.

Dee wanted to come to the room for a break so I brought her up. Of course housekeeping was cleaning the room. She let us in and we sat in the living room while she cleaned.

Once she was gone I headed back to the casino and Dee took a nap.

I went back to the 10 plays and this time got a bunch of play but I dropped 3 bills. Hitting quads when holding trips is still a big issue!

I came back up and got Dee from her nap and we went back to the casino. We played a different bank of 10 plays this time. I was steadily losing but she was doing well getting quads here and there. Then shes says rather blandly “I got one” and I look over expecting to see a quad but instead see a royal on line #8.

We continued to play and I was down over $400 when I landed aces and a dealt full house. I was making a slow comeback as Dee was continuing to grow her meter thanks to frequent quads. Then as always I start my comeback and she starts losing! Luckily she got dealt quad 10's. By the time we were done we were both down some but I had her royal ticket in my pocket so we weren't really down.

We had dinner plans for 8pm with Jimbo, Katy & Alicia so we had some time to kill. Not wanting to end the day down after hitting as royal we played low and slow. Dee played dime deuces and I played quarter deuces. No major hits and no deuces but Dee nailed natural quad sevens on 3 of 5 lines on one hand. Whoo hoo, 60 coins! It was time to meet everyone for dinner so we cashed out, Dee down about $50, me up about $50. Mission accomplished and we didn't lose anything.

I did the play and swipe promo on the kiosk again today and won 2000 points. Not much but I'll take it.

For dinner we went to Promenade Cafe. I had meatloaf and Dee had BLT with fries. The food was standard and the service was as usual, slow tonight.

When we got back up here to room and we ended the day with the usual TV and then bed.
