Day 9

Once again we started the day with a little bit of time at the pool with the cousins.

After we were baked to medium rare we came back inside, got cleaned up.

For a light lunch we split a sandwich at the Clubhouse Deli. This is the first time we've gone here since it's been open. We had the Cafe Turkey sandwich which is Ovengold® Turkey, Brie Cheese, Sliced Granny Smith Apples, Baby Arugula, and Cranberry Honey Mustard on Multigrain Bread. It also comes with one side of potato salad, macaroni salad or coleslaw and a pickle. It was a pretty tasty sandwich and I would get it again.

After lunch we went to the casino and hit the machines. We took a shot at Spin Poker. We were hovering at first and Dee hit a triple quad. That's about all the luck we had during this session and we dropped 6 bills and only got 6k in action out of it.

We moved to 3/5 play next. Dee played triple play and just got whacked and dropped another 3 bills even though she hit aces. I was playing 5 play and did a little better. Quad jacks were my card today. I lost count after the 6th or 7th time. I hit a few other quads as well but only one was a bonus quad. I got out of the session up $100 and we came up to the room to take a break.

For dinner we went to Spiedini with the cousins. Dee went with linguine and clams and I decided on Beef Carpaccio and veal Marsala. For dessert we split a lemon cake.

When dinner was over we went back to the casino and played 10 play. Things were much better this time around. I was hitting a fair number of quads including aces a few times Dee was a little more streaky but hit some good dealt hands and a fair amount of quads. In the end she dropped 3 bills and I won $100 for a $200 net loss between us on almost 20k in action.

We went to see our host who had been off for the last few days and got Dee's free play straightened out. All was good and she got her $30 in food coupons as well.

We had our action in for the day so ran Dee's free play through single line 8/5 bonus turning the $300 in free play into $240 in cash. It was not a good run with only 2 full houses and 2 straight. Other than those nothing better than 3 of a kind and those were rare too.
