Day 10

This morning we skipped the pool and went right to the casino after our in room breakfast. We'll be playing on my card for the next 3 days. We will also do a small amount of play (keeping her average up) so she can collect her second installment of free play.

We started off today playing 10 play. We were flat for a while then bled. Dee switched to DDB for a hail Mary and got dealt quad kings. This took her from down almost $500 to up $100. I was having a similar issue but wasn't in as deep. I took a hail Mary too and popped the almighty aces with a kicker. This got me ahead. We both switched back to bonus poker and Dee got dealt 4 to a royal and landed the top hand on line #6. Soon after we had enough play on her card to maintain her daily average and switched to my card.

Things stayed pretty steady for the most part. Nothing great, nothing terrible until Dee suddenly got cold and blew through 3 bills. I got out even.

We took a lunch break at the Clubhouse Deli. I got the same Cafe Turkey Sandwich as I got yesterday but with cheddar instead of brie. Dee got the Cafe Italiano. While we were eating Yahtzee Mike called and said they'd be here in 10 minutes. They got to town yesterday and would be here for a few days. Before they got here I swiped our cards at the kiosk and spun that fake wheel we got to spin a few days ago. Today we both won $10 in free play. While we were hanging out with him and Camela, Jimbo & Katy came by after their lunch at the cafe. We hung out for a while and then all came up here to show them this giant room.

Jimbo & Katy left and then the rest of us went to the casino. This time we chose Spin Poker. We were hovering and holding our own when Dee scores her second royal of the day on the top line. This was pretty sweet. She also caught a few quads including a triple and I hit aces. After I hit those I died though and dropped a few bills. Dee ended up even plus the royal so a nice net of $800.

Mike and Camela left and we came up to the room to take a break before dinner

For dinner we went to the buffet. Tonight was NY Style Deli Night. I'm not a huge fan of this buffet especially for dinner but we'll give it a shot. It was pretty bad which was a shame because a few people we know said this version was pretty good. The only good thing about it was the Dr Brown's soda that was included.

After dinner we played more video poker. This was a disaster. Other than Dee hitting a quad on her first hand and me holding 1 ace and hitting quad fours, we died. We died fast. Between us we dropped 8 bills and only got 4k in action. Dee's second royal was officially gone.

My free play hadn't been loaded yet but Dee's was. I went in search of my host and he took care of the problem.

We had enough play in for the day so I ran my $260 in free play through single line 8/5 bonus. It was a tough session but I turned it into $290 cash thanks to 2 bonus quads. If it weren't for those It would have been way worse.

Dee ran her free play through and turned her $245 into $265. She had a similar session and thanks to quad threes squeaked out a bit of a profit.

We wrapped up the night here in the room with TV. I hopped into the Jacuzzi and then it was time for sleep.
