Day 13
Sunday July 1, 2018
Happy Canada Day to My Canadian Readers
Well today is moving day. I got a comp from my host for breakfast last night so I went down to the Promenade Cafe and placed and order to go. Dee had an omelet and I had hash and eggs, bacon and fruit. We all sat at the dining room table in the room and enjoyed the final meal here together.

The cousins went to the pool for a while and I got us all packed up. I had a little time left over and got in a quick nap.

It was about time to get checked out of here and head to the next property.

We took the drive back down into the Vegas. The first stop was to Freed's Bakery that is featured on the show Vegas Cakes. We grabbed some cakes and cookies from them and moved on.

I hadn't told the cousins where we were staying these next few days (actually I told them we were staying downtown). Instead I pulled into M and told them we were meeting up with Jimbo and Katy again. Not until we got to the valet area did I tell them we weren't staying downtown but we were staying here.

When we arrived one of the rooms wasn't ready yet so we checked into the one room that was. One good note is the room that wasn't ready was upgraded to a classic suite because of occupancy reasons. The other room is a handicap accessible room.

I had actually booked this room back in December with my host. He's got us booked into 2 separate rooms. I've also got a mailer for $100 free play and 2 free buffets. Dee has a mailer for 1 free buffet and $50 free play. We also get 2x points on VP and 6x points on slots.

We were assigned rooms 15124 and 10125. The suite is 15124 is a king room with night stands, sitting area, work desk, flat screen TV, dresser and closet. The bathroom is spacious with a tub, standing shower stall , dual sink vanity and toilet room. There is also a view of the mountains. The living room has a wet bar, powder room, couch, coffee tables and TV.

Room 10125 is a handicap room. It has 2 queens, a nightstand, closet, work desk, flat screen TV, small sitting area and a pool and strip view. The bathroom is a little different then the regular rooms with one sink, and there is no toilet room. The toilet is in the open space and has grab bars all around it. The shower had a larger door and has roll in capability. There large bench that is normally in there is replaced by a smaller safety seat and also has a hand held shower head.

While we waited we got settled into the room and hung out. The cousins went for a walk and then Jimbo and Katy stopped by.

The suite was finally ready so the cousins grabbed their stuff and headed up. We finished getting our things together and then it was time for dinner.

For dinner we all went to Jayde Fusion. I had made a reservation for this a few weeks ago. It's a unique style restaurant that's sort of buffet style but everything is cooked to order. They have a standard Chinese menu as well as sushi. The standard menu is $24.95 per person.

We all ate too much and rolled out of the restaurant and back into the casino. We'd be playing on my card each day of this stay and I also needed to make up a little bit of action from short playing yesterday. The first thing I did was swipe at the kiosk. Since our last visit here they downgraded a lot of the video poker here. This would include games that were already below 99%. We started off playing airport deuces. I like the deuces but I'm not a fan of the swings. Early on in the session I was dealt 3 deuces and popped the quad on the bottom line for the 1000 coin pay off. Dee struggled to do anything and busted out of $200. She took a $100 reload and I continued to play but my deuces money was dwindling when I hit them again. Dee hovered for a long while and got dealt a dirty royal to give her a little more ammo. She was slowly dropping down but still getting good play. I got dealt trip deuces again and scored my 3rd set of the night. Dee eventually busted out finishing down $300 but I cashed out up $500 for a $200 net win.

We finished up the rest of the night in the room watching some TV and relaxing.
