Day 15

Today is the last day the cousins will be in town with us. They went to the pool. The didn't get to enjoy it as long as they would have liked because some kid shit in one of the pools and it had to be closed.

We hit the casino. Today is their 50+ day here at M and Dee now qualifies. The best part of their program is the free tournament where the top 50 players win free play. Dee did her free round. You need 280,000 points to even qualify and she didn't come close.

We went back to the STP machines we played yesterday. We didn't do nearly as well as yesterday but that was to be expected. We weren't getting the multipliers we were getting yesterday and when we did we struck out most times. I did manage to get an 8x and got dealt a flush. I also hit quite a few quads without multipliers but the amount of hands with no pay offs erased all of those. Between us we lost $300 here and gave up.

Next up we tried some 3/5 play with 8/6 jacks for halves. Again, not a great play but the 12 good machines here are always packed during the day. Of course both of us hit aces and most of our quads would have been bonus quads if we were playing bonus. That's par for the course. Not much happened here. We got a good amount of play but dropped around 9 bills. Not exactly a good day at all so far.

We came to the room to take a break and have a snack. We both fell asleep for a while too.

After the break we hit the casino again. Dee had earned 5 additional slot tournament entries so we went back to the tournament area and did those. She failed on every one of them to qualify.

Next Dee spotted a 50 play she wanted to play. I gave her $100 and she played away. No major hits but got over 1k in action on $100.

It was almost dinner time so while we waited for the cousins to arrive we played a penny slot (DaVinci diamonds). Making 20-40 cent bets we were doing well. Not winning and not losing when I hit a line with 5 DaVinci Diamonds symbols for a 10000 coin hit. Go figure. Our biggest win of the day so far is on a penny slot.

For dinner we all went to the buffet. I used my 2 free buffets and a play and eat promo. Dee also did the play and eat promo so we were all dining for free. While it's not what it once was it's still one of the better buffets in town. After dinner the cousins went upstairs to prepare for their trip home tomorrow we played some more video poker.

Dee wanted to play 100 play and I figured what the hell. We're getting killed on everything else we play today, at least these will be a slow bleed. We both started out getting dealt trips. I got fives and landed 12 quads. Dee got aces and landed 2. I would have gladly switched! I struggled from there not hitting much of anything and got few dealt winners. Dee was doing much better and even hit a royal on line #86. Towards the end she switched to deuces wild bonus and got dealt quad aces (22AA) and got the quint on 9 lines. It wasn't enough to save her though and we lost a few bills here but Dee had fun so that helped.

Next up we ran our free play through 9/6 jacks for quarters (finally got on a good machine). I snagged a quad to turn my $100 into $140. We switched to Dee's card and a bunch of full houses turned her $50 into $70 cash.

I decided we weren't going to play here at all tomorrow so we went to the cage which doubles as the players club and we both cashed in our points. Dee got $157 and I got $259. Between this and the good run of the free play it cut or losses in half for the day. You just gotta love free play and cash back!!

We finished up the night up here the room with some TV and sleep.
