Day 19
Saturday July 7, 2018
Today we went over to Four Queens to play on Dee's card. She's got a mail offer for $300 free play and also had the ACG coupon for double points (up to 500).

We started of with 9/6 jacks for dollars. From the beginning it was just bad. I was blowing through credits like crazy. Dee was doing a little better than I was. Just way too many low pairs and single high cards, few full houses and flush four was a killer. I hit only one quad on less than 7k in action and dropped $900. Dee hit only 2 quads and as always one was aces. The thing that really saved her was hitting the ultra dreaded A2345 straight flush. She only lost $200 on just over 5k.

With our play done and me pissed off we went to Magnolia's for an $1100 breakfast. Since we were last here they've got a new and improved menu with new and improved prices. They've also changed the names of all of the breakfast items moving away from the New Orleans theme to more of a gambling and royalty theme. We both got the Regal Court which is 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and sausage or bacon. I got bacon, Dee got sausage patties. The service was pretty slow in here today but the food was as good as it usually is.

While we were eating I texted Jimbo and asked if he wanted to meet me at the Pinball Hall of Fame later on. He agreed so that would be the plan.

After our very expensive “free” breakfast Dee ran her $300 in free play through 9/6 jacks for quarters. She had a good run hitting lots of full houses and connected on flush fours one after another. If only this had been the earlier session. She turned the $300 free play into $350 cash and helped offset the losses from awful to not too bad.

We came back to the Golden Nugget. My plan was to go to the Pinball Hall of Fame and Dee was going to read, watch, TV, surf the net and take a nap.

I had her all set up and headed out. Jimbo wasn't there yet so I started playing away. If only the gaming went as well as pinball did today! This place is bankroll conservation at it's finest. Jimbo arrived and we both had a great tine playing the vintage games that are offered here.

A few hours later Jimbo left to head back out to Suncoast where he and Katy were now staying. I hung out a little longer.

I got back to the Golden Nugget around 5:30pm. We were both hungry so I went over to the Fremont to Lanai Express and got some Saimen and a 2 item Chinese food combo with Lo Mein, orange chicken and sweet and sour pork. I brought it up to the room and we ate and watched TV.

That pretty much wrapped up the day since we had our play in.

We watched more TV and then went to sleep.
