Day 4
Saturday December 29, 2018

I slept in today to get some extra rest. I started off chilling in the room with some in room breakfast (remember the stop to 99¢ Only yesterday?) of oatmeal and berries.

Next up it was time for some video poker action. I settled in at Spin Poker. Not much happening here. Hit few quads but did hit aces a few times to keep alive. After 4k in action I cashed out even and moved to 10 play.

The 10 play was not good to me at all. I got dealt trips 8 different times and didn't score one single quad on any of them. I dropped 2 bills here in no time and switched to a different bank of machines.

This bank was no better with few quads and no dealt winners. It went quickly here too and another 3 bills was gone in just 2k of action.

For lunch I went to the Hawthorne Grill. I had a grilled cheese and a bowl of tomato basil soup. The food here is excellent but the price tag is pretty steep with this meal and an iced tea coming in at $25.

It was back to the casino now. I took a break from VP and switched to blackjack. The table was up and down. I was never really down more than $100 or up $100. Then there was a short pocket of just crap. Every time I hit I busted and every time the dealer drew she made a hand. I was also losing my doubles and splits. I should have run when I had the chance but didn't and ended up losing my whole buy in dropping another $500.

I came to the room to take a break for a few hours before dinner. My friends Anne, Steve and Stacy came here and we went to the buffet. Tonight was steak and seafood night. The choice to go here was only because the line to the cafe was a bit long. As always, this buffet sucks for dinner.

After dinner Stacy left and the rest of us played video poker. I played for halves doing pretty good considering I wasn't hitting many bigger hands. I eventually hit a quad but that would be it. The slow bleed happened and I dropped 2 more bills.

I ran my free play through the machine. I had the $175 from my offer and another $10 from a swipe and win promo they were doing. I turned the $185 into $200 thanks to a last minute full house.

Anne and Steve left and I moved back to Spin Poker. Not much happened here. I did hit a few triple quads but they weren't enough to make up for getting low paired to death along with way to many hands with no pay off at all. Another $300 went out the window and I called it a night.

Total win/loss for the day - $1300
Total Comps for the day $510
Total Coin - In for the day $18,905
