Day 2
Sunday June 16, 2019
I was up early this morning and started working on this report. I also waited for room service to bring my breakfast. I ordered last night with the door hanger. I got the “meal deal” with oatmeal, berries, yogurt, juice and tea. It came right on time and at the bargain rate of $34 including tax, delivery charge and service charge. WOW!

After breakfast I got ready for the day and prepared to start pounding away at the machines to make use of 2x points.

I started off with 8/5 bonus 10 play. It was a pretty smooth session overall. I had run 15k through and was hovering around even. I played another 2k and dropped almost $300.

It was time for a break so I went to lunch at the Clubhouse Deli. I had the Italian dip sandwich. It's a hot sandwich of roast beef, fried capers and shallots. I skipped the shallots. It also comes with a cup of au jus for dipping. It's one of the better sandwiches I've had. I'd definitely get it again.

After lunch it was back to the casino. I decided to try my luck at dollar single line this time. I had more dealt straights, flushes and full houses in the first 15 minutes than I had all morning on 10 play. It was a smooth session for the most part but then got tough. Those dealt winners and a good amount of drawn winners helped me out. I did 8k in action and didn't hit a single quad. This caused me to drop $400. It's too bad because had I hit a few quads it would have been a nice session.

I took a short break up in the room for a snack and found out Lolly was here today. We made plans to meet up in a little while. I relaxed for a short while and got back out there.

Back down in the casino I met up with Lolly and visited for a while getting caught up on the weekend's events. She left for dinner and I hit the machines again.

I hit the 10 plays again and had very little luck. I was never ahead and the meter was just dropping like a rock. Quads were far few and dealt winners were not happening much. I was down to my last hundred or so and made the switch to DDB in my first hail Mary of the trip and in just a few hands scored my first dealt quad of the trip.

I went to dinner after this and tried the new Asian restaurant called Jade. The place was packed but being alone they got me right in with a seat at the sushi bar. I ordered the chicken ramen. It was a mix of noodles, chicken and some vegetables. While nothing out of this world, I thought it was pretty good and would order it again. I think the next time I come here though I'd order something off of the Chinese portion of the menu.

After dinner I was back at it in the casino. This time I went with Spin Poker. This time I shouldn't have played Spin Poker. I dropped 5 bills here with very few quads and very little anything else.

Next up I went back to dollar single line. It started out tough dropping a few bills right away. Things smoothed out and I finally hit my first quad of the day. I was finally hovering when I got dealt quad sevens (where were you on ten play?). I was getting ready to cash out with a $100 win when I got dealt trip aces and pulled the 4th for the $400 hit. I played a bit more and cashed out my first winning session of the day up $500.

I finished up the night running my $175 free play through 10 play airport deuces for dimes. Nothing happened here and the $175 became $150.

I was pretty tired at this point so decided to wrap things up for the day.
