Day 6
Thursday June 20, 2019
Happy Anniversary to me. Today would have been our 9th Anniversary if Dee was still here ♥ .

I was up early this morning and had breakfast in the room.

I got ready and packed up because I'm heading to Reno today. But first I'm going to play over at Harrah's for a while. Today they are offering 3x reward credits on video poker and mystery 3x – 100x for slots.

I decided to play 50 play 9/6 jacks today. Not a good session but not terrible. Dealt winners were non existent except for 2 straights in 3 hands. I managed 25k in action and lost $587. Not awful for that amount of play.

Next I went to swipe to see what my mystery was and to activate my 3x. I swiped, picked my question mark and won ERROR! Yup, error. I stopped at the players club to inquire and she told me the swipe doesn't start until 10am. Not true according to everything I read.

I walked over to the Hard Rock to use a play $40 get $20 free play coupon from the ACG. I got a new card and also got a free pick of 5 cards on the kiosk to win a prize. I won 2500 points. If I earned 200 points I'd get another swipe.

I went in search of something to play but the pay tables here are worse than a cruise ship. We're talking great stuff like 6/5 jacks, 6/5 bonus and even 6/5 DDB. Oh, and these pay tables are available in dollars too!

I found an All Star Poker machine with 2¢ options. I chose Ultimate X figuring I couldn't do too much damage. It was a little streaky but I hit a few quads. By the time I ran the $400 in action I was down $30.

I went and did my swipe and won $10 free play. The lowest amount of all of the choices. I also went back to the players club to get my $20 added on.

I ran the $30 through a Double Super Times Pay machine. Thanks to a quad with a 5x multiplier I cashed out with $60 for a $30 win and ran out of there.

I went back over to Harrah's to see about the swipe and now the kiosk was down. While there I spotted a favorite slot of mine so took a shot. I was getting beat up but hit a bonus round and cashed out down just $3.

I came over to Harvey's to try to swipe here. When I did it told me I had already won ERROR! Sweet. I stopped at the players club to inquire and asked if I was registered. She said her boss told her that anyone that swiped was registered but took my info. I'm doubtful I'll ever get those other points added to my account.

On my way back to the room I spotted a Dolly Parton slot that me and Dee like. I popped in a 20 and hit a bonus on my 3rd spin. That was worth just over $20. I decided to play down to $40 for a double up and hit another bonus. This one was worth another $20. I played down to $60 for a $40 win in about 3 minutes.

All said and done I ran 125k at Harrah's and lost a total of $61. Add back in the $37 in slot wins today and I am only down about $24. Probably even less when you consider some of the tickets I cashed had coins that I didn't add in. Not bad for 2 ½ days of play at that amount of action.

When I was done playing I stopped at the front desk to see how much food credit I had left and then went over to Starbucks to use it up. Came back to the room, grabbed my stuff and headed out.

The ride back to Reno was smooth sailing.

I had late lunch plans with a former co-worker that moved to Reno to take a new job. We decided to meet at Gold n Silver Inn. I came here with Dee 7 years ago after we saw it on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. I had tri tip sandwich with fries.

I left Gold n Silver and went over to Harrah's where I'd be spending the night. I would have rather just stayed in Tahoe for the night but tomorrow's flight is at 7am and there's no way I was getting up at 3am to make the drive back to Reno.

Checking in was quick. I was given room 1228. This is a king room in the west tower. It is a corner room with 2 sets of windows, an arm chair, couch, 2 more arm chairs and a small table. The bathroom is 2 rooms. One with a vanity and another with a vanity and toilet and tub,

I threw my things into the room and headed out. I didn't have any real plans to play here tonight since I got in quite a bit of action in Lake Tahoe.

I decided to play over at Silver Legacy. They have 50/100 plays for nickels with 9/6 jacks. It was a pretty smooth session never being down more than $150 and never being up more than $150. Lots of dealt winners including quad tens. One thing I hate about this place is they still have one of those readers that simply says ACCEPTED so it's hard to track your action. I had to sit there and count hands and use a scratch sheet to keep track. When I cashed out after doing 850 hands for 10.6k I was up $4.25. I had also earned 553 tier that got me to the next tier in their program. It also earned me $14.93 in comps.

As I was walking around I saw an old favorite slot so popped a $20 bill into it. Was up and down and thanks to a bonus stayed in the game for a little while. I cashed out with a 16¢ win. I'm officially undefeated at Silver Legacy.

With no plans in the immediate future to return to Reno and now just over $15 in comps I went to Cafe Central for a late dinner. I tried the Wor Won Ton soup. It came in a big bowl and had won tons, chicken, shrimp and pork as well as vegetables. I got it without shrimp. I thought it was pretty good and would order it again if I'm back.

I was done gambling for the day so took a walk through the area and took some pictures before heading back to Harrah's to wrap up the night.

Total Coin In for the day $35,625
Total win/loss for the day - $497
Total Comps for the day $97
Room $52
Food $45
