Day 8

Got got up early today and got caught up on e-mails and stuff and just took it easy.

I got ready and started off swiping at the kiosk to get my vouchers for the VIP buffet. I got 4x today so more like what I used to get.

I went to the buffet and it's pretty much the same as it's been for years. Basic food served up to fill the belly. As I usually do I ate too much but did try to stay away from as much crap as I could. Not easy for me to do but I did better than normal.

After the buffet I decided to go for a walk. I walked all of the way down to Golden Nugget. Once there I thought I'd give them a little play to get mailers rolling in again. Unfortunately the machines I was looking for were either down graded, don't exist or I just couldn't find. I was a little disappointed about that but it's their loss, not mine.

I came back to Aquarius and started playing for the day. Like yesterday I tried 10 play and simply got my ass kicked dropping 5 bills in just 3.5k in action. I decided to just take a break and came up to the room for a while. I ended up falling asleep for 2 hours but I didn't sleep well last night and now feel pretty good.

When I got back to the casino it wasn't worse than before. It was the same. I couldn't hit shit and dropped another 5 bills on 5k in action. This shit is starting to get old.

I took a shot with single line and it was much better. The annoying part was the amount of dealt straights, flushes and full houses I got. I hit a few quads and got an abundance of full houses. The real highlight of the session was dumping a junk hand and flopping quad aces.

I cashed out the session with a $1500 win and I was actually up $500 on the day.

I took a break for dinner and went to Cafe Aquarius. I had a bowl of Beef Barley soup and and order of chicken fingers.

After dinner I hit the machines again. I went back to the 10 plays and had a session that started good with some dealt winners and quads. Then it turned and went to hell. I lost yet again and yet another 5 bills. At least this time I got 10k in action through before I busted out.

I decided since was even (actually up a bit)I'd take one more shot. This was a waste of time and money and I dropped another $300 on this session. I don't know why but I have just gotten my ass totally kicked on these 10 plays the last 2 days.

I still had my free play so I ran it through single line $2 hoping to have a little luck like I did this afternoon. It wasn't a good run and I turned the $480 into $350.

I was walking to the elevator and walked past one of my favorite slots so popped a twenty in it. I played for quite a while and thanks to a few decent hits and a bonus cashed out with an 18¢ win!

I ended the night with the whopping win and came up to the room to wrap things up.
