Day 9

I got up early today and started off going to the pool for a while. I didn't stay long to keep from melting.

I came back to the room got cleaned up and headed out for breakfast at the VIP buffet again. I stopped at the kiosk to get my voucher and to spin for my multiplier for the day. For the 2nd out of 3 days I ended up with a 3x and was not happy.

After breakfast it was time to hit the machines. Even though they've been brutal to me the last few days I started off with 10 play. Not just 10 play but 10 play with Super Times Pay. The session started out well with a 10x multiplier on one of the first few hands. Sad to say it didn't amount to much. The multipliers weren't coming with much frequency and when they did, they didn't do much.

Things turned around when I was dealt 4 to the royal which has been rare this trip. I've also been on a royal drought this whole trip but, that changed when I landed not 1 but 2 royals for much needed boost to the bankroll. The casino was busy and short handed and it took a long time for someone to come and take care of this.

While I waited I moved to the machine next to me and threw in a few bills. Not much was happening until I was dealt a 5x multiplier and dealt trip sixes. This turned out to be a great hand landing 2 quads, a full house and 7 trips for close to a $500 hit. Things died after this and my hand pay finally arrived so I moved back to the other machine and continued to play.

I was hovering nicely when out of nowhere on a 2 card hold I popped a third royal of the session. I played a bit longer and cashed out with a $2900 win and came up to the room for a short break.

After the break I went back to the casino and tried standard 10 play. This was a pretty good session with a few ups and downs. I got dealt a bonus quad in deuces for a $500 hit. I continued to pound away but things slowly went downhill. I cashed out totally even after about 14k in action.

I took a walk to the back of the casino and bought in on 10 play again. I was hitting quite a few quads but not much of anything else. It was not a very good session and I dropped almost $400 here.

It was time for a dinner break so I went over to the Cove to use up my other food voucher. I went with chicken fingers tonight. They are homemade and huge but flavorless. They have a really nice panko coating but they need to season it. The fingers in the cafe are better by a mile.

Wanting to protect today's gains and with it getting a little late I decided to pack in the video poker action for the day. I did pop a $20 bill into the same slot I played last night getting a similar amount of play and a similar outcome. Tonight I cashed out with a 19¢ win.

I came up here to the room and closed out the night with a little TV.
