Day 10

I got up early today and started off with a little in room breakfast. One I was fed and got ready I actually headed out and up the hill to Harrah's where I'd play for part of the day. A few reasons for this are that I've fallen off the mailing list here from lack of play. The past few years we were playing on Dee's card. The other reason is it's a mystery multiplier day for slots and 3x for video poker. You can't swipe until 1pm so I wouldn't know what my slot multiplier is until later.

I started off with 50 play bonus deuces. I got crushed here with little play.

I took a lunch break over at the Beach Cafe. I had a grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup. The food was fine and the tomato was actually pretty good.

I was able to swipe for my multiplier and got 4x so there would be no slot play in my future.

I went back to the machines after lunch and tried DW44 10 play and got crushed here.

I took a shot at single line and got crushed there. It didn't matter what I played, I got very little play and hit very few big hands. On the two deuces games I never got dealt a hand with 3 deuces and getting 2 was a rare.

I went to the diamond lounge for an afternoon snack. The food options were never great here but they are weaker than ever. I can't believe the assholes running this place actually charge $10 in comps if you don't have 25,000 points or more. Compared to Atlantic City where they do this and offer a mini buffet complete with carving station it's quite embarrassing.

I came back to the Aquarius and swiped my card to see what my multiplier for the day would be. I ended up getting 4x today. I also printed my Cove/Duet vouchers for the week.

Off to the machines I went starting off with spin poker for a change of pace. Keeping with the theme at Harrah's it continued here. I dropped another pile of cash on this.

I switched to 10 play and hovered for a while but I was just not hitting much of anything and then the bleed started. Few quads, few dealt winners and lots of bills fed into the machine.

I decided to give up on video poker for the day since not only did I drop everything I won yesterday, I dropped another pile on top of that.

I took a shot at machine hopping some penny games. This was as bad as anything else I could have done. Few bonus rounds, no big hits and very little play.

I finally tapped out knowing I was not only beaten for the day but knowing there was no way I was going to make a come back either.

I came to the room and watched TV for a while before going to after one of my biggest single one day losses of all time.
