Day 11

I started off the day going to the pool for a while. Only stayed for about and hour and came back up to the room.

I had in room brunch and watched TV while I got ready for the day.

I headed out to gas up the car over in Arizona where gas is currently over $1/gallon cheaper than it is here in Laughlin. While I was over there I went over to Jack in the Box for a duplicate lunch of the other day which was a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and 2 tacos.

I came back over to the Nevada side of the river and went up the hill to Harrah's. I wasn't really planning on playing here today but I'm getting close to 7* between play in Atlantic City and then in Tahoe last week. I figured I'd be better off playing an extra day in Laughlin where the pay tables are halfway decent instead of in Las Vegas where they suck.

I played bonus deuces on the 50 play machines for nickels. It was an up and down session but deuces were not showing up very often. I landed a royal with no deuces for a $200 hit to keep alive. Then I finally got dealt a hand with 3 deuces and pulled the quad on 3 lines. A few minutes later I was dealt a bonus quint. This helped but the swings started again and there was no come back. I did get my play in but even with those nice hits dropped $480.

I went to get something to eat in the diamond lounge. The offerings were a little better tonight than they were yesterday but not by much. It filled the void and I went back out to the casino. I saw a Gold Fish slot machine that I decided to play. I hit a few bonus rounds and cashed out with a 19¢ win. I have to say, I've been winning at slots quite a bit this trip!

I wrapped everything up here and came back down the hill to The Aquarius. It was actually getting a little late and I hadn't played here at all. I took my spin and got a 4x multiplier and hit the machines. To speed up the play for the day I took a shot at 10 play for halves. This is a little bit more than I like to play but I figured I'd take a shot and pull back to quarters if needed. The shot worked out when I held 3 cards to a royal and scored on line #5 for the $2000 hit. The rest of the session kind of sucked and my meter quickly dwindled. I had enough play in for the day and for the trip so I quit up just over a grand.

Next up I cashed in some points for $500 in free play. I ran it through quarter Super Times Pay 5 play. Not a great session with only a few multipliers that were all 3x. I only turned a profit on one of them. I did hit a quad with no multiplier but it wasn't enough. I turned the $500 free ply into $441 cash.

I decided to wander around playing some penny games. Not much good was happening. I did hit a few bonus rounds but they were all weak. I finally hit a great bonus on what would be my last machine of the night. After my 7 free spins and the $112 hit I cashed out of slots with a $40 win. Not bad for 60¢ bets.

I cashed out for the night and came up here to get things cleaned up and wrapped up with some TV.
