Day 13

I slept in again today and started off with a little in room breakfast and then went to the pool for an hour.

I came back to the room and got cleaned up and then hit the casino. I started off with a stop at the players club to get my free play and food credits.

I went to lunch at Marilyn's Cafe. I got the Prime Rib dip. The sandwich was good but it only had 3 thin slices of meat on it. So between the giant roll it came on and the fries this meal was a plateful of carbs.

After lunch it was time for video poker. I started off with 5 play. I started of well getting dealt a flush and hitting a bonus quad. That would be the end of the good hands though. Hand after hand of low pairs, single high cards and junk resulted in nothing but losses the rest of the time. It was one of the worse sessions of the trip. I dropped over 8 bills playing quarters on under 6k in action.

I switched it up and went to triple play for halves. This was a little better. I hit a quad right away but that was it for a while. I was up and down for most of the session. I was actually down to my last few bets when I hit quad aces and got back into it. I hovered for a while and cashed out of this session with a $5 win.

I ran my free play through singe line DW44 for halves. Thanks to a quint I turned the $75 into $82. I also cashed in some points for $100 in fee play. I also ran that through DW44 for halves and turned it into $85 cash. These large losses with very little play are very reminiscent of the December 2015 trip I had with Dee where we just couldn't do anything right.

I still had about $12 left in food credit so I went to the cafe to get something to go for dinner. I ordered the chicken sandwich with chips and a grilled cheese with chips to use up all of the credits. I went over a little bit but that's OK. I ate the chicken in the room and grabbed my things.

I left Tuscany and headed out to Henderson to Sunset Station. Even though I had 2 nights at Tuscany I didn't feel like driving out to Henderson, checking in, and coming back to Tuscany and then back to Sunset in the morning.

I booked this through a mail offer for 3 nights, $40 free play and $25 food credit. I checked in and got room 1616. This is a king room with nightstands, a dresser, flat screen TV and small dining table. The bathroom is standard with a vanity on the outside, toilet and tub in a separate room.

I didn't feel like playing any video poker so I got in some craps action. The session was very up and down and one shooter got me some nice profit and I cashed out with a $700 win escaping the day with a small overall win.
