Day 14
Friday June 28, 2019
I ended up sleeping pretty late this morning thanks to the room darkening curtains. I got caught up on e-mails and stuff.

I got ready for the day. I didn't have any plans on playing today so had a free afternoon.

I got a text from Jimbo that he and Katy were over at Green Valley Ranch. I headed over there for lunch with them. We went to the Cafe. I had a cheese steak which was very good. Jimbo charged the meal to the room and I covered the tip. Thanks for lunch Jimbo.

I left GVR and went over to the Pinball Hall of Fame for a few hours. Always a fun time and inexpensive.

I left the Pinball Hall of Fame to pick up my friends Anne and Steve at their house and we were off to the strip. I got tickets to see Paul McCartney at T-Mobile arena.

From there I went to park at Caesars Palace. My reason for parking all of the way down there was simple. I refuse to pay for parking and being diamond I can park for free at the Caesars Entertainment properties. We made the walk over to the arena from there.

I got these seats about a month ago. Tickets for this event were kind of pricey. We opted for the upper level but near the stage. These were $99.50 each plus all of the bullshit fees that go along with ticket prices. We are in section 224, Row P seats 11, 12 and 13. I grabbed a snack of arena food (chicken fingers) for $12. Not a terrible price compared to other things. The worst I think was a bucket of popcorn for $8 and beers for $15.

The show was excellent and for a guy that's 77 years old he can still perform. He did over 3 hours with no break. Then into his encore he tells us there is a special guest and Steven Tyler from Aerosmith came out. He did one song with Paul and then left the stage. All in all it was a great show full of hits.

After the event we walked back over to Caesars.

I took Anne & Steve home and then drove back up to Sunset Station. I didn't get back until almost 2am.
