Day 18

Got a late start today but got caught up on lots of stuff. My first move was to go to Caesars Rewards and have Dee's reward credits transferred to me. I spoke to a supervisor and she handled everything.

Now it was time to play. Since my last trip here they gutted the few decent machines there were. I opted for 7/5 Bonus Quick Quads. I started off with 5 play to keep the swings to a minimum. I was hitting a good amount of quick quads and regular quads to keep alive. I did 7k and was up about $200 when I took a lunch break.

I went to Pho Da Nang and got a wonton noodle soup. While I was standing in line some asshole decided to cut in front of me. Ok, whatever. I figured he was just an asshole, would order his food and 2 minutes later I'd be there. Of course not though. This asshole had a $100 comp and wanted to burn it playing 20 questions with the cashier on prices and grabbing stuff and putting it back. Seriously, what a pain in the ass this guy was. A few people behind me were yelling at him. 15 minutes later he was finally out of the way. What a fucking idiot. A few minutes later my food came out. It was quite good except the won tons had shrimp in them.

After lunch I went back to the same machine. This time bounced back and forth between 5 play and 10 play. I got dealt 99954 for a quick quad on 5 play. I took a break and came up to the room for a short nap still up over $200.

A little after 5pm Jimbo and Katy arrived and soon after Las Vegas Norm arrived and we went up to Voodoo steak. I had the $250 offer with the room plus a ton of comps to use. I ordered an 8oz filet and a side of risotto. We also got a few other sides to share among the table like mac and cheese and a baked potato. The meal was excellent and the views were great. We also ordered dessert and I went with the chocolate layer cake which was coated with chocolate. It was very good and not overly sweet. The bill came to $330 and I charged it to the room. I'll use reward credits to cover the balance when I check out tomorrow.

We all went out on the patio after dinner and checked out the views and took some pictures while the sun set before all going our own ways.

I went back to the video poker machines and more quick quads. This session was pretty much the same as the previous 2. I was also switching back and forth between 5 and 10 play again. I was starting to get slammed again when I got dealt 767A7 for a 10 play quick quad. I was pretty happy about this until 10 minutes later the entire thing and then some was gone. I was saying the eff word quite a bit at this point and then I got dealt 4555A on five play to get back into it. Things smoothed out after this and I was down to needing less than 1k in action to complete my play for the day. I was beginning to worry because I so often get crushed in the last bit of play. Luckily I hit few quads near the end and was able to squeak out a $150 win.
