Day 22
Saturday July 6, 2019
I was up early this morning to meet Albert for breakfast at the Hawthorn Grill. I had bacon and eggs.

After breakfast I hit the machines. The session started off great with a dealt bonus quad for $500 but the machine got tight after that. I cashed out of the session with just a $9 win.

I took a break from the machines and went to the deli to pick up a bunch of sandwiches and other stuff. The reason for this was I am holding a celebration of life for Dee. A bunch of our friends are coming and we're going to eat some food and tell some good Dee stories.

I brought the food up to the room to get ready for the gathering. Jimbo and Katy helped me set everything up. Thanks for the help guys.

People started showing up around 1pm and in attendance we had Jimbo & Katy, Yahtzee Mike and Camela, Anne & Steve, Albert, Lolly, Stacy, Gary, Norm and my casino host here at Rampart.

Everyone had a good time and I know Dee would have been excited that so many people came to the suite to party. It was always something she wanted to do while we were here in Las Vegas.

Thanks to everyone that showed up. I appreciate it and I know how much Dee would have loved it.

After the event I cleaned up the room and then headed out to the casino again. It was another session that had a good number of quads but I couldn't hang on to anything. I cashed out of this session with a $5 win.

For dinner we went to the makeshift buffet that's upstairs while they renovate the existing buffet. It's the same so-so quality with fewer selections. We made the best of it though and we all found something to eat.

After dinner it was back to the machines. I was hovering for a while but then there was a fairly fast bleed. I busted out and reloaded but the machine kept sucking credits down. I moved to a different machine on the other end of the bank and continued to get crushed until I held 2 cards to a royal and out of nowhere scored on line 3. This was followed by a hand where I hit 2 sets of aces and on the very next hand hit one more. I cashed out of the session with a $400 win.

I stopped by the players club to turn in a voucher for $100 free play from the online game they were running and ran it through 50˘ single line. I hit a bunch of “stuff” as Dee would have called it. Nothing big, just a bunch of little stuff and turned the $100 free play into $122 cash.

Yahtzee Mike and Camela were leaving early in the morning so we all said our good byes so they could get to bed and be on the road first thing in the morning.

I came to the room and crashed after a long day.
