Day 24

I got up and got ready for the day. I had some make up play to do from short playing a few days this trip and today was the day to do it because it is 2x points on video poker and 5x points on slots.

I met up with Jimbo and Katy and played 10 play. This was just a disaster dropping 5 bills on less than 4k in action.

I moved machines and played another session with nothing much to talk about either. I did squeak out a win of $3.

We took a lunch break and went to the buffet. This buffet is a joke but there's always something to eat that's pretty good especially for lunch. It helped that Jimbo & Katy had 2 free passes they got from Camela the other day. She got them for donating blood but they weren't good until today. I had a 50% off coupon from the kiosk and Katy signed my $4 buffet to their room. Thanks for lunch guys.

After we ate it was back to the video poker for me. No major hits and very few quads. I did get a decent session in with 12k in action but dropped 8 bills in the process. This day is turning really bad really fast. I took a break in the room after this ass kicking.

After the break it was dinner time. I met Jimbo and Katy at Jade. I had the chicken ramen that I had last month and it was quite good tonight. It was actually better than it was last time I had it. Jimbo and Katy signed the bill to their room and we were off to the casino again. Thanks for dinner guys.

We all played 10 play again and it was a streaky session for me. I was struggling to hit quads and dealt winners were not coming in. I eventually had a hand with 2 sets of aces to get back into it and another set of aces a few minutes later but as fast as the meter grew, it dwindled again. I cashed out with s loss of about $200 on 8k in action.

I decided to take a shot at dollar single line. I was getting good action and hovering close to even for quit a while. I hit a few quads but they were all regular quads except for one bonus quad. After 8k in action I was down only $200. It was one of my better sessions of the day. While I was playing Jimbo & Katy went to the deli to get some food for their flight tomorrow. They also got me a turkey sandwich. Thanks for the sandwich guys.

Since today was 5x points on slots I took a shot at some penny games. This was a total waste of time. I dropped $100 and hit only one bonus round and that netted a whopping $14.

I gave up on the gaming for the day and went to the payers club to cash in my points from this trip Between June and July and what was left from last trip I had $900 available. That helped today not be so bad but it was a shame the final day had to suck so bad.

Just before I came to the room I had a $10 match play. You would have thought I was trying to rob the main cage the way they treat these things. I played it on black and 28 black hit for my one and only match play win of the trip.

I came up to the room and got as much ready for tomorrow's trip home that I could and then went to bed.
