Day 3

I slept in today and didn't have much planned again as far as gambling goes. I decided to go down to the Stratosphere. Based on my play at Aquarius I got an offer for $75 free play and $15 in food. I used to play here years ago when they first opened but like most places, they chased me away with shitty games and tight comps. I can't tell you the last time I was in this palace.

The video poker here sucks and I have no set amount I plan on playing. I'll take a shot and if I'm getting killed, pull the plug while taking their free play and food.

I found a bank of 7/5 Bonus UX. Not much to report other than typical swings of this game. Never getting the dealt winners when the board is lit up with multipliers. I did hit a few quads and some of those were with multipliers. I finished up with a loss of $307

For lunch I went to BLVD & Main the sports bar here to use the $15 in food they offered. I tried the downtown burger. The burger was overcooked and tasted like the grill hadn't been cleaned in a while. The tater tots were warm at best. I think the meal was sitting in the kitchen for a while after it was done. It took a LONG time for it to come out and the place wasn't busy.

I ran the $75 free play through DaVinci Diamonds and turned the $75 into $98 cash thanks to a spin with 5 Mona Lisa for 5000 coins.

I left the Stratosphere and went back to the Flamingo and headed to Planet Hollywood and and met up with Jimbo. I got tickets to go to an afternoon hockey game with the Vegas Golden Knights taking on Vancouver. Me and Dee used to go to the Wranglers games at the Orleans but I've never been to an NHL game and was looking forward to it.

Tickets are quite expensive. I got seats in the upper level Section 222, Row J, seats 9-10. Even way the eff up here the tickets were $150 with taxes and fees.

The game and the pre show were a lot of fun. They really know how to entertain during the down times. I would definitely come to another game. The Golden Knights won 6 to 3 and the Canucks fan sitting next to me left after goal 6 was scored.

After the game we went back to Planet Hollywood. Jimbo headed out and I stopped by Paris to see if Ned the dealer was around. He was dealing 3 card poker. We talked for a bit and then I went down to the Linq to get something to eat at Guy Fieri's Vegas. I got my standard Motley Cue. It was good but a bit dry tonight so I had to get some extra BBQ sauce for it.
