Day 6
Wednesday December 18, 2019
I got up today to start the day not knowing what to expect. It was one year ago today that we lost Dee. My main goal is simply to keep busy and keep my mind off of that.

I had a small breakfast in the room while I got caught up on e-mails and this report.

I finally got motivated and left the room to start with lunch. I went to Cafe Aquarius and got the ham, maple bacon and grilled cheese. Way too salty with ham, bacon and Parmesan along with cheddar and Swiss.

Time to hit the machines and the first thing I did was swipe for today's multipliers. I got 3x on video poker and 4x on tables and slots. I started off with 10 play again. Nothing good to report other than a few more straight flushes including to dreaded king high version on a jack ten hold. Hopes were up when I was dealt RF4 but missed the royal. There were also very few dealt winners and I was down close to 5 bills on only 6k in action.

I took a break up in the room and watched TV and napped for a bit and then went back to the casino. This time around I played Super Times Pay. This was up and down with nothing for long stretches and then a few multipliers with some dealt winners. No multiplied quads though. I got dealt RF4 again and again failed to fill it. I dropped almost $500 this session with 10k in action.

Next up I took a shot at some dollar action hoping for a quad or two. I managed to hit a straight flush and a few quads along the way. I went to dinner up $250.

For dinner I went to The Cove. With the Vineyard closed until Christmas they have a small selection of “Vineyard Favorites” on the Cove menu. I opted for the lasagna. It was pretty good and I'd get it again. I paid the tab using a couple of vouchers I get for being at the Legit card level.

After dinner I hit the machines again and played 10 play. It was a smooth session with a good amount of quads. There weren't many dealt winners and once again I was dealt RF4. This time I filled one on line #4 for the $1000 hit. The session was pretty smooth for the most part and I quit up a little over $850.

It was a little early and I wanted to play more but I had enough action in for the day and I hate finishing the day in the negative after hitting a royal so I called it a night.

I came up to the room and watched TV and then went to bed a little early. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get up earlier than I have been getting up.
