Today I turn 49.

This morning the day started with some 10 play. Not terrible and not good. Hit a few sets of aces and the dreaded king high straight flush but, finished up only $2.

I met up with Jimbo, Katy and Alicia and we went to the Summerlin Room for lunch.

After lunch we were back to the machines and I had another up and down session with aces and cashed out with a $1 win.

Next I stopped at the players club and had $75 added to my account that I won in an online game yesterday. Today they are also running a kiosk swipe and win game. I won 3000 points. That's $15 and I'm just happy I didn't win a free drink.

I hit the machines again and this time was not very good. Not awful but couldn't seem to hit much and anything and only hit a couple of quads. Dropped $200 on only 2k in action and decided to take a break.

Got a text from Yahtzee Mike letting me know he was here so I went back downstairs. Anne & Steve also arrived around the same time. We all hit some single line machines. I tried halves. Didn't hit any quads and lost $40 by the time we had to go to dinner.

For dinner I had reservations at Hawthorne Grill for 8 of us. Tonight's cast includes me, Jimbo, Katy, Alicia, Mike, Camela, Anne & Steve. I had a BLT wedge salad and a NY Strip. The food was excellent and the service was 100x better than the crap last night. Since it's mine and Steve's birthday, we got free cake! The total bill for 8 of us was $650 including the tax and tip. Pretty reasonable for a nice place like this.

After dinner Anne and Steve left and we were back in the casino. I played 10 play. It wasn't very good and it was a long time before I hit my fist quad. Even with some dealt winners and aces I still couldn't get back to even. After 9k I was down 5 bills.

Mike & Camela had to leave because they were leaving early in the morning to head back to California.

Jimbo & Katy finished up their night and I was the last one left. I ran my free play through single line halves and didn't hit anything better than 2 pair turning the $75 free play into $50 cash.

I wrapped up a great Christmas day up in the room.
