Day 9

I was up early and hit the VIP Buffet with Mike before we headed out. While were there Lolly showed up and we talked for a while and then said our goodbyes.

After breakfast Mike headed out and I came up to the room to grab my things and got ready to head out.

I went down to the Golden Nugget to play for a while. I have a mail offer for $80 free play. I played some spin poker deluxe. Didn't do well. Few dealt hands better than jacks. I did hit a hand with 3 sets of aces but it only saved me from busting out.

I ran the free play through for pennies and turned it into $90 cash.

My travels today take me back to Las Vegas. More exactly, Summerlin, to Rampart. This is the final move of the trip and I booked this through my host when I was here in December. I also have a mail offer for $525 in free play and $20 in food. I also have a bunch of free play from an online game they ran for Leap Year and I won a finalist spot in their big drawing tonight. The room was ready when I got there which is unusual.

This is just a standard room which is just fine for me especially on these shorter trips. It has a different design than any of the others I've ever stayed in. It has a king bed, nightstands, dresser, work desk, and flat screen TV.

The bathroom is large with a whirlpool tub, shower stall, and dual sink vanity.

The room also has a view of the new condos being built across the street which have taken the golf course view away.

I got my things up to the room and then hit the casino.

For dinner my friends Anne, Evelyn, Stacy and Gavin came up and we went to the buffet.

At 6pm I went to the drawing area. They have been running an online game for Leap Year and I've been earning entries. However, I won an online drawing that guaranteed me a spot in the finals. Those are tonight. Prizes range from $500 to $5000 and the 29 finalists all get a prize. I ended up getting the lowest prize of $500.

I was tired but wanted to get some play in because today was 2x points. I played some 10 play and had a decent run. Good number of quads and dealt winners to keep me alive. I ran 5k and won 5 bucks!

I ran my free play for the day through 50¢ single line and turned the $275 ($175 from mailer and $100 from online game) into $335 cash. I hit a bunch of full houses in this short session to make a nice profit.

I came up to the room to relax and watched TV before going to sleep.
