Day 11
Tuesday March 3, 2020
I got up early today and started pounding away at the machines. Tonight there is a drawing and you earn entries for drawings through play.

The first session started out rough. I was down over 4 bills before things started happening. I hit aces a few times and got dealt a quad. Things smoothed out after this and I got a lot of play in. I hit aces more times including 2 sets on one hand. Even with the aces and dealt quad I only cashed out ahead by 90 bucks on 12k in action.

I moved to another bank and continued to go up and down. I hit aces one after another and was getting quads quite often. The problem was between quads I wasn't hitting much of anything. They key hand this time around though finally hitting my first royal of the trip, 10 days in. I cashed out of the session up by over a grand on 5k in action.

I took a break for lunch and just went to the Summerlin room. Today was taco Tuesday. Nothing outstanding but tasty enough and filled the void.

Next up was an another round of video poker action. This was a short session with not much happening and I cashed out down $225 on just 2k.

I took a break in the room for a while and watched TV.

After the break I went back to the machines and had another great session. I hit aces a few more times including on a hand where I held a lone jack and another hand where I hit them twice. The best hit of the session was hitting my second royal of the day. I cashed out of this session with a $1000 win.

It was time for the 7pm drawing. I was wasn't called which was a bummer.

I went to the sports book for a while to watch the Vegas Golden Knights play the Jersey Devils until the next drawing.

At 8pm I returned to the drawing area and this time I was called. I was the last one called but at least I was called. I won $25 but if one less person would have claimed their prize I would have moved up one notch.

I went back to the machines for one more session. It started out well and was pretty smooth. I hit aces 3 more times including 2 on one hand again. For anyone that's keeping score these were sets 14 & 15. After almost 8k in action and hovering the whole time it was like someone flipped a switch and I blew through 4 bills in a matter of 10 minutes.

I gave up on the VP for the day and I ran my 3rd installment of free play and another prize from the online game through dollars turning the $275 into $240 cash.

I came up to the room and started packing up for my trip back home tomorrow and then went to bed.
