Day 5

I was up early today and after some in room breakfast it was time to play.

Today they are running 4x Great Gift Wrap Up points. I don't normally bother with these but I'm going to be in Las Vegas during the dates of the event so I might as well take advantage of it. I swiped at the kiosk and then hit the machines.

The play was a lot tougher than it was yesterday. Couldn't get anything rolling. Was feeding in bills way too often. No dealt straights, flushes or full houses but caught a break getting dealt quad nines. This only got me around even right around the halfway mark. Continued to play and was going way too many hands with no profits. Caught another break when I got dealt quad tens. Still could not get anything rolling. I was still down but near the end. Then as always the last 2k in action killed me. I dropped more in the last 2k in action than I did in the previous 48k.

With my VP play completed it was lunch time. I went to the American River Cafe. I had an open faced turkey sandwich. It was good but a little light on the meat.

I took a break and walked over to the Hard Rock again to turn in another voucher for $25 in free play. I ran it through slots and turned it into $16. I played a few more games and thanks to a bonus round walked out with over sixty bucks.

I was getting hungry so went to dinner at The American Rive Cafe. I got NY Strip dinner and some chocolate cake. The steak was actually pretty good for coffee shop. I used the $30 food credit that came with my monthly offer.

After dinner I played a few more slots. Nothing major, a few wins, a few losses.

The end of the night was spent up here in the room watching TV.
