Day 8

Up early today and it was the usual morning routine. When I was ready to go it was back up to Lake Tahoe to collect the free play from the “You Play We Pay” promo. I swiped at the kiosk, got my free play and found a machine. Between my guarantee and what I earned I had $465 in free play. For some reason the kiosk gave me $410 instead of $400. No arguments here. I played single line $1 8/5 bonus. That $475 free play became $525 cash thanks to quad eights.

I took one last walk over to the Hard Rock and cashed in another one of those vouchers for $25 in free play. I turned it into $13 cash. I played a few more penny games and got beat a little bit. No good bonus rounds today. I popped into Montbleu and did the same with no luck.

Next up was Harrah's for lunch at the American River Cafe. I got the open faced turkey again. Still really tasty and still a little light on the meat.

I played a few penny games at Harrah's and did really well with a few bonus rounds, two which were just a few spins apart.

I played a few more games over at Harvey's and I was on my way after giving some of the Harrah's win back. I was heading back to Reno with some extra bucks in my pocket.

When I get back to Reno and the Silver Legacy it was time to play here. I played jacks or better on the 50 plays for nickels. Pretty smooth session for the most part. Never up or down more than $200. There was a lack of dealt straights (5), flushes (0) and full houses (1). I had enough play in for the day and I was down just 12 bucks. I'll take that any day of the week.

I took a walk through the casinos at “The Row” playing a few penny games along the way. Did really well with a couple of more nice bonus rounds. This is probably the most bonus rounds I've ever hit in one day.

For a late “dinner” I went to Sips at Eldorado, their Starbucks type place. I got a turkey sandwich and a maple glazed donut. Really tasty!

I had enough play in for the day so decided to just come up to the room and take it easy for the rest of the evening and eat my sandwich.
